Wii Graphics as good as PS1??

It is FACT that the Wii has better graphics than the entire 6th generation (let alone the 5th generation) of consoles.

While right now the games don't look too good,games like Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption show us that the Wii can make some great looking games.

God of war 2 is fact that the ps2 has better graphics than wii :)

It's no lie that a few Wii games have not been great graphically (Ubisoft games especially) but to compare Wii games with the PS1 is stupid. 

If I wanted a graphic power house I would get a Xbox 360 or PS3 but I do expect graphics to be as good if not better than the Gamecube.

Combat isn't exactly fun in either the PS2 or Wii versions of the game, but the Wii version is extra awful thanks to the control scheme.

I read that, you seem to be taking it out of context as he said that it's the combat that made it horrible as the control scheme was horrible and mostly unresponsive to the Wii-mote at times. Nothing can be done about how developers set controls schemes for the Wii games...

I am pissed that the wii that is supposed to be stronger than the xbox 1 and be just as easy to program for as the cube has produced those graphics.  The wii games look like crap they are cube level all the way to sub dreamcast level and the sound is horrible also compared to my 360 and ps3. The wii-mote cuts out when it feels like it and the is no online. Well there is online to dl overpriced retro games and look at the weather??

Nintendo is really slacking and I am starting to wonder if I wasted my money on the wii ??

Far Cry Vengeance was a crappy, sloppy port, so was Double Agent, and that's a bad screen of Zelda.

I agree that Far Cry Vengeance was a very sloppy and crappy port, very rushed indeed.  I haven't played Double Agent yet.  But Zelda's graphics aren't that bad.  Some pics of games get distorted like that if you cram them too tightly or expand them super-huge(due to pixle count)

Damn, you guys are impatient as hell to do Online Play.  XBOX Live wasn't established until well into the XBOX's life span(about a year). and the PSOnline wasn't established until 2004 or 2005(4-5 friggin years after the PS2's launch).  Don't use that "OH, XBOX 360 and PS3 had online play since launch" talk on me.  Well, DUH, XBOX LIVE and PSOnline had already been established well before their releases, so they designed the consoles to use them immedieately.

Unfortuantly, that's because they're trying to be nicer to the thrid parties this time around... With the GC, they basically went to developers and said "Make us a game" Response: "Why"  ~"Because we're Nintendo." (adapted from old, old IGN article...) 

So now they're acting as if they have no right to criticize a developer over the quality of a game...  And it's a shame, especially with devs doing so much horror with the wiimote controls.  It's making them look bad...  And I've seen some great controls done with the Wiimote... Just, not on the Wii...

Glovepie + bluetooth anyone?  Basically, Wii devs were outcoded by random people who wrote GlovePie scrpits for various PC games... 

I do belive that Metroid Prime 3 will deliver great controls as they said they will (and previewers have)  And I know the first party game comming out later this year will have great controls, and will have decent visuals.  But as for the thrid parties...
