Different art style, you can't compare the two. Ps3/360/PC games tend to have a more realistic art style, which needs the power of the systems to be done effectivley. While you may be able to compare sheer beauty and SMG win out, reality is, Wii cannot do what the others can.
The opening cutscene is probably as good as the graphics get and it looks to be running about 20FPS. Sorry sheep this isn't some miracle game that proves the Wii can compete graphicswise. Its just great art design.
Mario Galexy craps all over the ps3 games in terms of graphics, SMG looks better then gears somewhat.

Its only 480p... How can it possibly look better than a PS3 game when most of them run in 720p and 1080p? Resolution has nothing to do with graphics quality, if that were the case then why don't any games look even remotely close to the movie Shrek running in 480p, or 480i for that matter? SMG looks great, but it's nothing mind blowing. It's just great art design with some cool graphical effects that makes it look pretty.
Not eveything is in the resolution d00d. Nintys art styles have always looked orgasmic, and they have always made the most of the technology that the inhabit.

Unlike the Wii, the Ps3 and the 360 has way more detailed backgrounds, characters and scenarie. Theirs also more variaty in colors. The Wii is still a great console with great games but you can't say it has better graphics then PS3.

Videos on the internet automatically run at 27 FPS so you can't possibly tell unless you play the game. One of the developers said it runs at 60 FPS.
Man, i love knowing that i actually have a brain. It feels good to have eyes too. This allows me to see and think about games when i look at them, as well as apply common sense, unlike a certain someone.
