Metroid Prime 1 and 2 with Wii controls makes these masterpieces even better.

Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition is the defentive version of this masterpiece.

Resident Evil (JP Only now, but could come outside) Original RE with RE4 controls? Best version almost guranteed.

Super Mario Galaxy is one of the highest rated games of all-time.

Zelda: TP one of the highest rated games of this gen (outside of GS)

Super Smash Bros. Brawl the must have (and HIGHLY rated) game for Wii owners.

Ocarania Of Time availoble on the VC is still considered the best game of all-time, this version is the best looking.

Super Mario World THE game of the SNES era, LOZ LttP, and SMW2 close behind.

Super Mario Brothers is the NES game of all-time.

For someone who is newer to gaming i can't see how you could discredit the Wii. Even vetran gamers The Wii is a powerhouse for retro and current gaming.

Trying not to be fanboyish with this thread but there are so few positive topics about the Wii on this forum. Pretty sad really.

So your telling me the reason to own a Wii is to re-buy all the games I already own or have played on it?

I don't see RE1 actually benefiting form motion-control.

It was announced some weeks ago. A Wii-port with motion-control of RE Zero is also out.

Maybe if you included some of the Live Arcade games like Duke Nukem 3d and stuff you might have a shot (Even tho it's stull subjective, and the Wii has some of the greatest games of their time such as OoT, Paper Mario, and Mario 64 availabe for download)

the combat felt sloppy in the wii version with the wii remote so i liked the gamecube version

Ya think? I thought it was brilliant. Especially using IR for the bow, you get headshots from horseback!
