anythin can happen in fantasy land!!!!! :D
seriously this is just wishful thinking. face it, the wii is the lowest quality console
Gears360
If you wanna make unjustified comments, lets talk about rumoured 33% failure rate of the Xbox 360. A console which has a higher failure rate than the Wii must be of a lower quality.
Sorry but stop all this BS about Exclusive AAA's. A AAA game is a AAA game. If i own a PS3 does that mean playing a multiplatAAA doens't count? No. Wii will have the LEAST amount of AAA games simply because most games don't even utilise the controller that well. Paper mario is a good example, easily the best new* non port game on Wii and didn't get AAA because it's pretty much a GC game with semi tacked on wii controls. 360 will get far more AAA games, and you make it as if AAA means business. Go look compare the number of AA games and come back and tell me wii is looking good.
And another thing. Why on earth are you including VC games? Just because OoT was a masterpiece for N64 doens't mean the Wii should be credited because it can play it through a retro download. Might as well include 100 odd AAA games for PS1/PS2 combined.
I guess so.[QUOTE="smokeydabear076"][QUOTE="Vandalvideo"]So we want to round up? Heh, the PC now has like 12. 0_oDencore
I love it when people say the PC, it's only one platform with no competition thus no games can be exclusive to a certain OS, add all the AAA's and AA's from all 3 consoles *only counting mutliplats for once* on Gamerankings the consoles have MORE AAA's and AA's. Now that's. O_o Worthy. ;)
Comparing the PC against all three consoles combined is just silly. The PC is one platform, jsut like the 360 or PS3 or Wii. Right now, the PC is currently leading in high quality titles, has always lead in high quality titles, and will always lead in high quality titles. Its just one of those facts of life.[QUOTE="SpruceCaboose"]Wow...not only is that using some arbitrary rounding system, but it also uses averages based on a very short time frame.
elektrixxx
The same "rounding system" is used on all consoles, so it is completely fair. I fail to see the problem.
but but but we have good games "AAA!" look at the score rounded up!raskullibur
lol.

The PC is a choice for a gaming platform. Some people may choose it over the other consoles. Its part of the video game industry, it is in dierct competition for consumers with the other platforms. It has a significant affect on console gaming.

The backwards compatability on the PS3 gives it an insane amount of AAA titles. I guess that is now sound logic. Thanks TC.

Thenumber of people who own all those consoles must be smaller than the number of people who own a PC capable of playing all games released for it.[QUOTE="Riviera_Phantom"]Correct but it's also one of those IRRELEVANT facts of life. It's not in direct competition because PC is not a GAMES MACHINE. It's a personal computer. Who the **** buys a PC just to play games? It's like me buying a friggin MOBILE to play games...so that a games machine too? Because it has similar games to the GBA? No. there are different markets even if they are selling similar games. Consoles are bught primarily for gaming so in the consumer eyes it's in the same boat.

If it plays games its a gaming machine. Simple as that. Many poeple buy PCs primarly for gaming. If a game comes out for the PC and 360, the 360 competes with the PC for sales. Its as simple as that. Its part of the gaming industry. To deny so is just downright funny. Please Log In to post.
