Wii has the sales,yet the 360 and ps3 are still getting more games announnced.

With the recent game fallout being announced for the ps3,xbox 360, and pc its getting obviouse that sales arent doing anything for the wii.The ps3 and 360 are getting more games called out then the wii and already have an impressive start to 08.

Already for 08 the xbox 360 has

Halo wars

burnout paradise

star wars unleashed

fall out 3

Midnight club

resident evil 5

condemned 2

postal lll

cross fire

Universe at War: Earth Assault

dark sector

frontlines: fuel of war

and some other titles

Im not a big ps3 fan so i dont know what it has for 08 so dar exept for metal gear solid.

And the wii has.......

mushroom men

and starwars

It's because months before the release of the PS3 or the Wii...devs made a stupid assumption.  They assumed that people would not buy into the wii, and if they made games for the wii, it will flop because no one will have a wii in their home; no one would buy the games.  So devs didn't make any wii games prior to the release, they focused on PS3 and 360.

The wii owned them so hard it makes me cry.  The wii is selling better than any console this gen, and so devs rushed games out the door to try to leech of the success of the wii.  ONLY NOW are devs jumping on the wii bandwagon and making quality titles to satisfy the MILLIONS upon MILLIONS ofo wii gamers.

PROOF?:  Ubisoft made a PUBLIC APOLOGY stating that they wanted to be the first to capitilize on the wii's uniqueness and in doing so rushed some half baked games into the market like red steel and raving rabbids.  They have "PROMISED" (that's the very word they used) to make more quality games in the future.

Does that answer you question TC? (Btw, Ubisoft, while only one developer, has a godly status for today's games like Prince of Persia and Assassins Creed.)

There's only 2 mario games in existance.  If your referring to mario spin off like sports and mario party...theres a bit much...but when it comes to mario kart..i think there are again, only 2 other in existance.

As a rule Nintendo games sell well on Nintendo system and others not so well... 3rd parties probably still see the 360 as the best platform for their games.Idonomeus

The PS3 is selling way less software than wii 1st and 3rd parties. Of course then there is the whole Wii games being cheaper thing.
