Wii, how often do you play it?

I hear about great sales for the Wii.

I was interested to see how often do you Wii players play there Wii? I know a lot of people who bought one, but only used when company or family comes over. I do know a few who played it often the first month, but since then not often at all.

With motion sensors and such being the big THING with the console, I jsut wonder how you guys put in an 8 hour session of Smash Brothers or any other game that you might get addicted too (like a Halo, WorldofWarcraft level)

I haven't played mine in weeks,but that's primarily because it wasn't functional for a few weeks,and I sent it to Nintendo a week and a half ago.I should get it back next week,though.:D

Before that,I played it everyday.

Right now my Wii is used to play old game cube games. Last week I used it to play RE4: Wii ed. a lot. On the other hand, my PS3 hasn't seen any gaming since... well ever, i got it as a gift, and have yet to buy a game for the system. Oh wait, i did play some old ps2 games on it when i first got the system, but that was 5 months ago.

Blah, there nothing out right now that i want, that i already don't have.

Haven't played mine in a long time (except yesterday I was playing some Contra and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance).

Haven't played any Wii games in a long time, I beat all the ones I have.

I'm waiting until I have the room to spend money on Super Paper Mario, because I STILL have yet to play it...

I play Wii sports almost daily, but it's mainly used for Gamecube games right now. The first wave of Wii games has dried up, but the next should be great.

I am playing it like crazy for a month because of Godfather and Red Steel.And a week ago I bought Mario Strikers, now playing strikers 3-4 hours a day online, pretty addictive.

But Before all of these I was playing it 1-2 hours a day.Excite Truck or VC.

I boot it up everyday for news anyway though.

Haven't played (as in seriously played for more than 30 minutes, not just "turned on" for a few minutes for non-game stuff) for over a month. Just not enough games that interest me right now. I was thinking about picking up RE4 Wii but I played it to death on the GC (as in doing every last thing,) so I haven't been able to get myself to buy it just to replay it.

That being said, my PS3 is somewhat in the same boat, it's being used heavily right now - but only as a Blu Ray movie player.

My 360 gets by far the most game play at this point.

Prime 3 can't get here soon enough, seriously.

Playing Gamecube games ATM, summer drought and all.

I'll probably pick up RE4, seeing as I never beat it and I need something to get me back into the game.

I play it pretty much every day, I'm playing Scarface atm. Sorry to disappoint.

Smash Brothers isn't going to feature much motion control, btw.

Tell me about it.... I see these all these people talking about playing the crap out of and loving Red Steel and I wish I had the ability to enjoy games that bad. It was just.... terrible.

I don't play much, but I dont play anything much anymore.

I'm getting tired of games in general.

I guess if you're hungry enough for games or only have one system something "meh" like Godfather will keep you occupied.

That's why it's best to own all three, I only pick up the best games and there's enough of 'em between the three to keep me happy.

on my own: almost never, unless I am playing a gamecube game (usually Eternal Darkness or RE4)

but it does get used when I have friends over with Wii Sports and Monkey Ball

overall, I'm dissapointed with it so far though

They could have gotten hooked on DBZ: BT2, like I did. :P

Once, twice a week maybe for 10-15 minutes at a time (Big Brain).

Waiting for: Paper Mario (VC) & Fire Emblem localization.

Well I own games, which I can play... but it doesn't mean I'm going to everyday. :P

Let's see. My Wii's on life support with Gamecube games until Metroid Prime 3 comes out. My 360 is going to stay dead until Bioshock comes out and that's if I don't upgrade my PC. I'm ravaging through some games that I still haven't beat on my PC. I don't have a PS3.

I'm starting to feel the burn of the summer drought.

Maybe, I mean I'm not saying the Wii doesn't have some great games. I loved SPM, LoZ:TP, and to a lesser extent Elebits. Past that though I don't see content that I would even want to try, let alone purchase.

Yeah, I too have too much to play, but the collector of me wins most internal debates. Plus I have to make sure my new gaming room I'm building is fully furnished :P

Anyway, just picked up Hoshigami for the DS (despite owning the PSX version? *shakes head*), and The Darkness, just about to play it after Man vs Wild.

JUST started SPM a second time.

I'm addicted to that game lol
