i got it for exclusives, it's my first nintendo console
whether you think the software is hardcore or not, it delivers in providing a diverse quality exclusive and original ip library
it was the only console i was excited for to launch also.. the reveal was nuts and when I saw that mario galaxy footage I was sold.. wii fit and wii sports are great party games that anyone can play also
I don't like the Wii, but I also don't hate the Wii. I just don't want the Wii. I pretty much skipped last gen and that's all the Wii is to me (a last gen system). So if I am going to spend $250 on last gen gaming, I will buy $250 worth of games for my PS2 and Gamecube that I pretty much ignored last gen. Game wise, the Wii looks like this gens Gamecube to me. A few of the people I know with Wiis don't even have them hooked up anymore. They have them packed away in their box in a closet or something.

Red Steel (5.5/10) Zelda (GC port) Smash Bros (a game you dont spend more than 1h playing) Galaxy (good one for once) Mario Cart (lol singleplayer is boring to death and online is full of cheaters/hackers=fail) Star Fox (will never come on Wii the creator said that 2weeks ago...)Donkey Kong (not sure what you want with this when you are getting 100 Mario games per mounth on Wii) and i hope the Sonic thing was a joke lol __BIOSHOCK/MASS EFFECT/KZ2/FALLOUT3/OBLIVION/MGS4/ORANGE BOX/RE5/HALO3 and ****load more is what i call GOOD games for a real gamer__I'm willing to bet you don't even own a wii...let alone played any of those games :|
with the exception of red steel...that one was pretty crappy.
