Yeah the PS3 graphics are almost as good as the 360's so I don't hate the PS3. ;) Oh and I don't hate the Wii but I do think it's a gimmick that by next year will lose a lot of third party support. I don't know why Nintendo didn't make the Wii more powerful.

Graphics aren't as important as you might think, if you disagree, play some FFVII, Tetris, Super Mario Bros., Super Metriod, and Contra. 

Yeah I agree the Wii can't match the games the 360 and PS3 will have over the next two years in terms of graphics and physics.  Also more people are going to buy HDTVs when the 2009 Broadcast regulations are actived when all stations in the US will have to broadcast in HD.

nintendo knew they couldnt keep up with microsoft and sony so they went another route which was genius btw, instead of making a powerfull console they made a simple yet fun console which attracts not only the usuall gamers but parents, kids, females, those people that dint even think of buying a console before, and as far as sales are concerned the wii has sold more than the ps3, and are stil in demand, their large user base will keep them up for couple of years to come

and to be honest i would prefer gameplay over graphics anytime...

2. the Wii graphics are already well below the 360/ps3 and that isn't stopping sales at all.

3. Nintendo as a second console is good since you get the unique Wii games with traditional graphical focused games. Thus more Wii sales.

hardware isnt everything, look at the ps3, it has a very powerfull hardware but its doing very medicore in terms of sales, nintendo was creative on making their consoles without needing to utilize powerfull hardwares like the 360 and the ps3 used and its still able to keep up with both consoles, (i used powerfull coz i dont know any other word to express it in XD)

oh and graphics aint everything, i would rather play a game with a good storyline and gameplay w/ medicore graphics rather than to play a game with poor gameplay and storyline w/ a omg nice graphic   . (not saying that ps3 sucks or so.)

This is a good point. But saying that it isnt going to be anything by next year is wrong.

250 fifty dollars is alot of money anyway you look at it. People protect there investments as im sure you would do if your console of choice was replacing the word "wii". Simply point you have no hard evidence other than your own perceptive on the console to make any claims.

Cows don't know squat about next gen, their controllers don't have rumble. As for Lems, they don't have motion sensing.

You may be right about the Wii losing some of the third party games but it not going to be next year....I don't know if you have been reading the gamming news but there has been a ton of third party companies saying they got games comming out next years.... Nights, Crash, Sypro, Samba de Amigo and Snatcher are to name a few

Graphics arent that important, yes they do add to the game, but many people play games for the fun of it. Look at people who still play VC games on the Wii, or even games like Maple Story.

The wii a Gimmick, ive heard that one before.

btw, my friend, who owns both a 360/PS3 said the wii was garbage, yet when he played it, he loved it.
