"just wait, wii sales will fade in a month"

"its just a fad, it'll be over by March"

and now its "next year"?

The Wii's graphics will evolve just as the 360 and PS3's will. This means that when if the 360 moves forward a mile, so does the Wii, therefore the distance between them is still the same as when they started.

I still play SNES, and even the odd NES game. And they're graphics were outdated many years ago. It doesn't make the games any less fun.

As long as the Wii gets fun games, the lack of graphical power doesn't matter.

The graphics will be a joke compared to what will be on the 360 and PS3. I am sorry but Wii is not Next Gen it is more like Current Gen with a Next Gen controller.

MFFS_Fisher

Actually. Current gen is next gen seing how we are living now and not in the past.

And the fact that the Wii has hardware rated somewhere around th last Xbox is nothing new. It is still the next generation of consoles. Generation has nothing to do with quality, but to do with when it was released.

Ok the Wii is past gen. Everybody happy now.

Eh no. It's current gen because it came out around the same time as the PS3 and the 360. If it came out at the same time as the PS2 and the xbox, then it would be past or last gen.

Why am I repeating myself?

The graphics on the Wii are consider to be last gen. Anyway the point I was trying to say is that demand for the Wii is going to go way down next year when the more advance games are out for the 360 and PS3.

Nintendo could have released a damn caluclator for their newest console and it would STILL be a next-generation console. The fact of the matter is that its a technical term that was hijacked by stuffed-shirt unimaginative marketing buffoons.

Dude thats the best post yet. i take my hat off to u. *takes off hat*
