Wii line up is amazing

Zelda Wii was announced before the system was released... also most of these games have enough information to be excited for... I will have to update the list again with information about each game so this does not happen again...

But that's not wrecking the franchise. It simplymeans they need to make a real game in the series; a spin-off doesn't wreck a franchise.

And I believe Donkey Kong Jungle Beat could be considered a"real game in the series", even if it used the bongos. It used the bongos to control DK as it was a platformer, and a very good game in itself. It didn't have a great length or much replay value, however.

Been gaming since the Commodore 64 days (thats before Nintendo starting making consoles), had every Ninty system ever made (except the VB), been a manticore for about 12 years, I don't want any of these games for my Wii. I can see why people would though, those without a better platform.

Nintendo created a console in which they do not have to innovate their games at all, but all they have to do is create a new control scheme. They can create games exactly the same way they did last gen, but throw in a few waggle controls and call it the "evolution in game control" or some crap like that. Nintendo has created no new tech, and has contributed NOTHING to game development this generation. Zelda TP, I think, is so far absolutely unplayable. I'm not even in the forest temple yet, and I can barely force myself to continue. Why is this? Because I realized that I'm playing the same game I was playing 8 years ago. But with nicer graphics and a horrendous story. I'm going to finish it, because it's Zelda, but the game designer needs to be beaten, for forcing the player to herd goats, and prance around as a Wolf for the first few hours of Zelda gameplay. I'll never forgive them.

What kills me this gen, is that Nintendo had something special with the Wiimote, and it's being wasted. They're not moving forward, they went sideways, and they will hit the wall.

I disagree. If you're well educated and know where to look, you'll find that both the PS3 and PC have some incredible looking games being released over the course of the next two years.

Because while it may have been a decent game it's really nothing like Starfox 64. SF64 is a god damn classic and one of if not the best space shooter of all time.

Zack & Wiki alone will be better than most of the games this generation... it is the rebirth point-and-click adventure games have been begging for since the 90s...

1) when I saw : Tomb raider anniversary, I almost burst out laughing (I'm at work so I behave) : for the Wii they'll have to take the old Tomb Raider 1 game because the PS2 Tomb raider anniversary would lag like hell and cause overheat!

2) WiiFit is the most total ripoff I've ever heard about!!!!!!!!!!!!! It uses 2 Playstation ideas : Eye toy Kinetic, which was more developed, as it tailored a program with your height, weight, sports habits ... and it could be updated with your progress (which WiiFit, as it's a casual fun game, won't AND IT'S CALLED LYING BECAUSE MANY WILL BUY IT TO LOSE WEIGHT!!!) AND it stole the Dance mat from Dance Dance revolution !!!! RIPOFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

....What? Seriously wtf are you on. 3rd party games on wii won't sell as well on PS3/360..this is common knowledge..but with development costs it evens out. But developers will spend more money on making real next gen games as opposed to cheap wii games...better yet they'll make it for PS2 and then port it. That's even cheaper. Does it really matter if they're also available on the Xbox 360? In most cases the PC version will be better anyway. Unreal Tournament 3 will be better on PC, as well as World in Conflict due to the keyboard and mouse. Hell, even ports from the 360 to the PC are getting bonus incentives, like a whole new Act and higher res textures in Gears of War. I won't deny that the 360 is a good poor mans alternative to a high-end gaming rig, but to detract from the PC's lineup based on that fact is just silly. It's not like these games suddenly don't exist on PC, or everyone is wealthy enough to own both.

As for your thoughts on the PlayStation 3, I find it very hypocritical of you to mention "old ideas with better graphics". From what i've seen, Super Mario Galaxy is just Super Mario 64 with better graphics and tacked on motion sensing controls. In all honesty, it could probably be done just as well on the GameCube. The same with Super Paper Mario, Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3 and Super Smash Bros. Brawl -- just the same old "nostalgic" formula but with a slightly different control scheme. Where are all these new spangled "innovative" ideas I was expecting? I've yet to see something on the Wii boasting as interesting a design ethic as.. say.. Little Big Planet. Then again though, you've already proved several times that this thread only boils down to one thing: personal opinion.

And we all know deep down that Final Fantasy XIII, GTAIV, Halo 3 and next-gen versions of Madden 08 will easily sell over one million, sometimes in as little as 24 hours.

Resistance has sold over two million copies to date. Motor Storm has sold over one million. Does it really matter if they're also available on the Xbox 360? In most cases the PC version will be better anyway. Unreal Tournament 3 will be better on PC, as well as World in Conflict due to the keyboard and mouse. Hell, even ports from the 360 to the PC are getting bonus incentives, like a whole new Act and higher res textures in Gears of War. I won't deny that the 360 is a good poor mans alternative to a high-end gaming rig, but to detract from the PC's lineup based on that fact is just silly. It's not like these games suddenly don't exist on PC, or everyone is wealthy enough to own both.

As for your thoughts on the PlayStation 3, I find it very hypocritical of you to mention "old ideas with better graphics". From what i've seen, Super Mario Galaxy is just Super Mario 64 with better graphics and tacked on motion sensing controls. In all honesty, it could probably be done just as well on the GameCube. The same with Super Paper Mario, Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3 and Super Smash Bros. Brawl -- just the same old "nostalgic" formula but with a slightly different control scheme. Where are all these new spangled "innovative" ideas I was expecting? I've yet to see something on the Wii boasting as interesting a design ethic as.. say.. Little Big Planet. Then again though, you've already proved several times that this thread only boils down to one thing: personal opinion.

As for Super Paper Mario that is also very new and innovative... but the really innovative ideas are still in the development process... I understand that you do not know which games on the list qualify as this which is why I will soon take the time to update my list with descriptions for each game...

Hmm, I notice you pretty much posted up the entire lineup including multitudes of multi-plats and a few PSP to Wii games (contrary to popular belief waggle does not automatically make games more fun/better).

Actually the full list would be over 120 games long...and out of that there are maybe 24 multiplatform games.

While I agree that the Wii's lineup is better than the other consoles, the TCdid what a typical fanboy of any console would do and tried to list virtually every game coming out.Osafune24

Like I have told many other people in this thread... I have a much larger list just like this with over 102 games... and even that list is incomplete...
