Sony ball on a stick - pretty much doing what Wii motion+ does using different technology. Their camera is the sensor bar. Could potentially be more accurate for some things but is also severely limited in its current state by a lack of buttons and analog stick.

More accurately the camera would be the Wiimote's IR sensor. The little ball at the end of the wand is their analog to the sensor bar.

Ahh of course. I stand corrected :)

First of all- the Sony ball on a stick DOES have buttons. Stop saying it doesn't. They even make it a point to mention that buttons are necessary for some things. And it's still a prototype, so that doesn't preclude an analog stick. In terms of actual tech and getting it to work in games, I think Sony's is the best. Those demos highlighted how they would work in games we play often. In fact, it almost seemd like they designed the enemies to look Zeldia-ish. Don't know if that was intentional. Also, I think the camera part of the equation could be used for some interesting things in-game. The WM+ is pretty good, but that nunchuk will hold it back compared to two wands. In fact, if I could only ask one question during that Nintendo stage conference, I'd ask the guy why he pulled back the nunchuk when shooting a bow...the nunchuk won't know if you pulled it back far (neither will the WM+). Natal looks like it might be the most advanced, but there was no showing of how this would work in a variety of gaming situations. How is Halo going to work? How about Banjo? Stuff like that...it just doesn't seem well thought out, like an example of, "You can, but that doesn't mean you should." However, WM+ will be the best supporteed since it's relatively cheap and coming out soon. Natal and the glowstick will be mostly relegated to the sidelines unless MS/Sony comes up with an amazing killer app for it.

I don't like motion controls. They are always a pain to use and I have not played a good game that uses them yet. That I don't know much about about Natal or Ball-on-a-stick.

Can we get back to comparing graphics?
I hate this already.

goblaa

No, I'm so tired of comparing two amazing looking games and arguing over which has better grass physics. I JUST DON'T CARE!

And I doubt many people care for which motion controller will be better for reenacting a wand or something crazy like that.

am i the only one who watched the microsoft convention, natal is a motion camera, there whole point was to remove the controller, so in these which is the best controller, natal shouldnt even be considered, plus full body detection better then following a single instrument

Montion controls are just a gimmick, i've yet to see a game that was a great game that couldn't be done as good or not better by a controller.

Trauma center, Wario Ware:SM, MP3, SMG, NMH, Boom Blox, Zack and Wiki just to name a few.
