Wii "no games" bash soon to end

You don't want new IPs because you're afraid they'll score badly? Those games up there wouldn't have existed if someone hadn't made the IP.

That and Pikmin was a new Ip last gen, and my favorite GC series.

You think Uncharted, Lair, Warhawk, Echochrome, Heavenly Sword, and Resistance are just pretty games? How about new worlds, characters, stories, environments, and new gameplay elements made possible because of the more immersive worlds this gen offers.

Or how about just new franchises to get excited over. For every one old IP PS3 matches it with at least one new one. Insomniac made Resistance before Ratchet. Naughty Dog is making Uncharted before doing another Jak game. Sucker Punch has infamous. You see...something new...then go back to the reliable games. Is it that hard? Not really.

I had fun with Wii Sports, so I have faith in those. And most games I'm waiting to see what score they get, because some look interesting but I'm not entirely sure if they'll turn out to be great games.

That is a bad, bad list for non-casual gamers when you compare it to the list for 360 or PS3. BTW, why bring up sports games? The Wii is missing 5, yes 5 sports game that both other consoles are getting. That is the most pathetic thing I found out about the Wii. All sports games should be considered a given to all consoles in this gen. To be missing 5 of them just makes me sad.manningbowl135

Yeah well the thing is new for the Wii to be getting sports games. Last year they had Madden 07, this year EA added a couple more to their lineup, NBA Live 08 and Fifa Soccer 08.

As for it being bad for "hardcore" I guess thats what you mean by non-casual, but I have to disagree, while 360 and PS3 may be getting more of the hardcore games, but it all comes down to hype, there still some solid AA and AAA games on that list.

Sequels to existing franchises, quality 1st party games, small list of decent 3rd party games,.......hmmmmm, just like the gamecube.....and oh yeah, the graphics are exactly the same!!!!! All 360 and PS3 added were better graphics, so they are just as much a redesign of their predecessors as the Wii is. Besides, two minutes with the Wii disproves your point anyway.

It's like i said. wii software = GC software + minigames + ports

Only one worth mentioning is Mario Galaxy, Super Smash, and Metriod....everything else is crap.

After that what 3rd party support do they have......oh that's right there isn't really any. Compare the lineup of PS3/X360 to Wii's.....how can you say the "Wii has no games" bash will go away? You think 3 games in 5 months is enough?

Next year they have Mario Kart......that's IT! Face it, without REAL 3rd party support the Wii is going to have the exact problem the GameCube had......yes it had killer 1st party titles every so often but overall it had NO GAMES compared to the other consoles.

Will 3rd party deliver REAL games......I personally don't think so but maybe I'll be proven wrong next year. One thing for sure this year there is NO SUPPORT.......unless you like crap, which could be true judging from what has been selling on the Wii lately :)

Fire Emblem will get at least an 8, if not an 8.5 or a 9.0 (I would usemy opinion that it's the best series ever, but I think an objective reviewer will do :P). Look at FE: Path of Radiance. It got at least an 8 (I'm think 8.2 or so). The ones on the GBA before that got high 8's. It'll be good, you doubter. :P

By the way, LoZ: PH isn't bad either. Oh, Batallion Wars 2 should be good based on the original, but that has a shot at 7.5. I'd say 8 is most likely though. Oh, Strikers is good in Europe, so I can't see why it will score bad here.

Yeah, I'd say let the reviewers do the talking before you denounce "great" games as terrible. So far, the reviews are looking good for them. If you want to talk about games that are terrible, we can talk about E.T. or Heroes of the Lance or something, not these Wii games.

I disagree....Wii still has no games once u get past its obvious core of first party titles.... I think E3 pretty much proved this when they hyped WiiFit as the highlight of the show.Uptown

Yeah Like those GameCube smash hits Star Wars Rogue Squadron, Pikmin, Eternal Darkness, Killer 7, Viewtiful Joe, Ikaruga....crappy new IP's who needs them. :roll:
