Let me tell you a conandrum: You and your mates are having a party. Do you ask them to play a bout of Halo 3, or Wii Tennis? I know dozens of people who haven't touched Wii Sports after 2006, but still play Halo 2, let alone 3.

agreed, but thats why COD4 exists...... and are you seriously using the fact that an old lady is interested in the Wii as a plus? Do you like lawn bowling, metamucil & bridge too?

Yep, definitely Wii sports.
wii sports is great. some insecure teenagers are just afraid to play it. it's truly a next step in gaming.Always-Honest
"Afraid" lol I think Uninterested.

nope, afraid that they are not concidered cool.
But Halo3 was a very good game. there is no way you can compare both. just play both, both a lot of fun in different ways.

Now all we need it motion controls, mature games and next-next gen graphics and we're set. I call it..err...the Nintendo Revolution.
motion controls... aren't they allready in the wiimote?... but yeah, graphics suck on Wii.. true...
mature games are there though. more brutal than on any other console: manhunt, scarface and no more heroes...

"Wii sports owns halo 3..seriously..."
Hahaha, no just no.

I could see how it would be true for some people. The Wii Bowling alone is ridiculously fun with some friends, especially if you let them create their own Mii's first, that alone can be a ton of fun.

Or maybe its so unique that people get caught up for hours trying to master all the games, and training modes, like my friend did despite having a 360 and a high-powered laptop PC to play World of Warcraft on.
Don't underestimate Wii Sports; there is more to it than most people realize until they play it themselves.
In terms of gameplay:
Halo 3>>>>>>>>Wii Sports i mean halo 3 is one of the best FPS ever!
in terms of fun:
Wii Sports>>>>>>>>>>Halo 3 i mean if you have a group of friends in your house you wolud Definitely play Wii Sports, but if your at home alone then Halo 3 is the one for you.
Anyway halo 3 is a FPS game and Wii Sports is a sports game! why dont we compare halo 3 with call of duty 4 or wii sports with FIFA 08!
....
I personally think Wii-Sports is more fun than Halo 3 as well. Hell, I think Wii-Sports is one of the most enjoyable games I have ever played.

shallow?.. you're missing a deep story line you mean?..
now im going to be honest ..i am an Nintendo fan ..but i do play other games on other systems..and sadly i got a 360 before i got a wii..*damn taxs* anyway i played halo 3 for the first time 3 months ago and i havent touched it since..but i played wi sports for the first time today and i have to say its pretty addictive..i though it would be complete crap but i was wrong..long story short halo 3 was basically halo 1 to me it felt the same..with that said have mercy on my soul *activates lvl 5 sheild*..lovemenow
soo....wii sports owns one of the best games ever made?? is that a miracle?
They are such different games that comparing their gameplay is an act of futility. It really is a matter of taste
you're right in that system wars way though. Wiisports matters more than Halo3 in the world of video games. When wiisports hit the market, it put a mark on our culture. (just like the original xbox halos did)

No shallow as in I can only wave my arms wildly so many times. If it had some actual depth, some extra modes, it would be a lot better.OH MY GOD.........
And here i was thinking sheep are more intelligent than cows and lems. What were you smoking to think that Wii sports is better than halo 3. Your logic makes me think if sheep have below average IQ........
No way in hell is wii sports better than halo 3(which i think you didn't even play), and your blind argument puts other sheep to shame.

Wii sports hands down. There are more people than gamers at a party. People who aren't gamers can't stand halo. They would much rather play wiisports. I would much rather many people have fun at a party than a mere few.
Now, if it were a gamer party halo might seem much more desirable, but then again, people could just play online on their own.

Wii sports was crap...You cant really create your movement, you have to repeat the animations that they show you.
Nothing of a big step there

So between you, you know 24 people! That's like the whole world!
Anecdotal evidence rarely sheds much light on anything. Remember the people you know likely are similar in age, geographical location, wealth, tastes and interests to yourself and are not representative of people as a whole.
