Wii sports owns halo 3..seriously...

I'd rather play Wii sports than Halo 3 with my friends. Overrated casual FPS's with cartoony graphics and muppets don't do it for me the_h_bomb

Completed the first one, briefly played the second and third (in co-op). I have never gone back.

I appreciate the strides the games have made in Freindly AI, vehicles and multiplayer funtionality but it's just not my bag.

wii sports is for old people and retards. i mean seriously it just a collection of mini games designed to show off the wiimotes many forms of waggle. its fun for a day but then you get a REAL wii game like SMG or zelda. granted halo 3 was nothing special but atleats it was a real coherant game!thegoldenpoo

I personally think Wii-Sports is more fun than Halo 3 as well. Hell, I think Wii-Sports is one of the most enjoyable games I have ever played.

i can honestly say wii tennis..dude i saw a old lady buying a freaking wii right after me for the wii sprts crap..its just fun ..sort of like duck hunt..you can only duel weild and power kill so many times before you say enough..

agreed, but thats why COD4 exists...... and are you seriously using the fact that an old lady is interested in the Wii as a plus? Do you like lawn bowling, metamucil & bridge too?

yes true..cod4 is something far better..but this is between halo3 and wii sports..and yes i do like lawn bowling i dont need fiber..and bridge has interested me from time to time

Thats what I mean. The mutiplayer functionality is awesome but the game and concept is hackneyed garbage for adolescents. The main character in Halo looks like Motorcross Reject and the level design is crap.

Half Life, Deus Ex, System shock 2 etc are all superior singl player games

TF2, Battlefield 2, CS Soource etc are all superior multiplayer games

the singleplayer was OK, nothing special. The storyline and mythos they built around it are hilariously bad.

I only ever play Wii sport when someone brins it round but it's pretty good

now im going to be honest ..i am an Nintendo fan ..but i do play other games on other systems..and sadly i got a 360 before i got a wii..*damn taxs* anyway i played halo 3 for the first time 3 months ago and i havent touched it since..but i played wi sports for the first time today and i have to say its pretty addictive..i though it would be complete crap but i was wrong..long story short halo 3 was basically halo 1 to me it felt the same..with that said have mercy on my soul *activates lvl 5 sheild*..lovemenow

after completing halo3 three times and played wii sports quite alot on own and with friends and family they are both good in different way but halo 3 is ALOT better

I was also a nintendo fan since the 80's and have been gaming since the A200 era, and i didn't bash the wii or wii sports in my argument. But wii sports pales in comparison to halo3 and nobody could make the assumption that wii sports is better than halo3(which i admit, is overrated). Only sheep do that, and there is a huge diffrence in being a nintendo fan and fanboy. No matter what your prefrence is, halo3 is on a whole diffrent level than wii sports.

Now Metroid prime3 and halo3......thats a good Ms Vs. Nintendo comparison.

and i never said you bashed wii sports or the wii..but just know i play other systems too...and you raised the same argument i was just debating with the mod in this thread...yes halo and wii sports are 2 waaaaayyyyyy different games..i know and understand this..but that mear fact does not stop someone from being able to compare the 2 games..you just dont have to look at the differences of the game you can look at what little similarities they have ...and the argument i was talking about is the replay factor..and halo just didnt have that for me but wii sports does..i like shooters..like Metroid prime and golden eye, even halo 1..but halo 3 imo just wasnt that good..

I have a Wii now, and Wii Sports is great... owning Halo 3? I just don't see that. Its not even the same sort of game. Certainly Wii Sports is fun in a way that most videogames aren't, but it certainly couldn't replace Halo 3. Wii Sports is fun when I have a group of friends together. Halo 3 was fun co-op without the need to travel.Corvin
