Here are the main points I can come up with...

The Bad

  • SD resolution.
  • Weak online.
  • Missing out on a lot of multiplatform games...

The Good

  • Has lots of games in genre's that you can't play on PS360 such as point & click adventure.
  • The second largest number of high rated exclusive games after the PC.
  • It has a great MMORPG.
  • Some games provide a totally unique experience.
  • It's existing library pwns Move & Kinect.
  • Has the best platform game ever made.
  • Also some of the best rail shooters ever made.
  • Great for the whole family...

The Ugly

  • Tremendous amount of shovelware for the system.
  • You look like an idiot playing games.

Its an MMORPG, even if it sucks it exists hence making a point in the OP moot.

You somehow, defend Move and Kinect saying that they are not even out yet, still, when it comes to MMORPG, you listed FF14, a game that is not even out yet, double standars.

I was defending their lineups as more games are sure to be announced for 'em in the future.

Controller is terrible and uncomfortable. The bad motion controls make many games worse than they'd be with a normal controller.

I'd rather play Shattered Memories with a normal controller same with Resident Evil. And the motion controls for the spin attack for SMG2 was awkward. The only game I loved using motion controls for was Okami.

RE4 on a nomral controller was dog **** compared to the Wii Remote. If you disagree, you are simply wrong. SMG2 spin was perfectly fine, I preferred it actually, it worked 100 percent of the time and kept more fingers free.

Fixed for actual facts.

Now, even for that one "the good" point, you seem to completely ignore the existence of XBLA and PSN. All of "the good" you did post, was based almost entirely off of review scores, which are opinions and when coming into a discussion about objective points, is not really worth mentioning.

The Wii does have a large variety of games that aren't available on the 360 and PS3, but the fact it misses out on a lot of the games the 360 and PS3 get is a massive detriment that basically counters that advantage.

The best "the good" point you missed was the fact it has perfect backwards compatibility with Gamecube games. I'm quite surprised you omitted it given its one of the Wii's strongest points, making its library quite substantial.

I did too, but I'm not dumb enough to use an inferior controller when there are better control available.

Well I would rather play SMG or Zelda with a normal controller, and to some degree Metroid Prime, I dun have RE4/SH on Wii so I wouldn't know how awesome those are. The Wii-mote is pretty poorly designed TBH, only 2 buttons for nunchuck with 10 mapped on the Wii-mote, the D-pad placement on it is mind-boggling.

online should probably go in the ugly portion, and Final Fantasy 11 (the first MMO one) was released on the Xbox 360. other than that, pretty much the best summation of the entire system

Yea, I was wondering what game on the Wii the TS was talking about being an MMO....

If you consider MH3 an MMO, then WKC is an MMO for sure. With that very loose definition, you could go as far as to say stuff like Borderlands and Demon's Souls are MMO's.

If MH3 is the game they are reffering to, then I fail to see how thats true. DC Universe Online or FFXIV will be the first console MMO's this gen, unless you count the 360 port of FFXI. FFXI was a PS2/PC MMO... I think the only other true MMO ever to hit consoles was Everquest Online Adventures on the PS2.

Here are the main points I can come up with...

  • Has games in genre's that you can't play on PS360 such as point & click adventure. Monkey island XBLA 1 game? nice..
  • The second largest number of high rated exclusive games after the PC.
  • It has an MMORPG. PS360 do not. FF 14 its not even out yet
  • Some games provide a totally unique experience. flower 1 game?
  • It's existing library pwns Move & Kinect. they're not even out yet just like FF14
  • Has the best platform game ever made. opinion and what isnt?
  • Also some of the best rail shooters ever made.
  • Great for the whole family...

Here are the main points I can come up with...

The Bad

  • SD resolution.
  • Weak online.
  • Missing out on a lot of multiplatform games...

The Good

  • Has lots of games in genre's that you can't play on PS360 such as point & click adventure.

The Ugly

  • Tremendous amount of shovelware for the system.
  • You look like an idiot playing games.

I'm quite surprised you omitted it given its one of the Wii's strongest points, making its library quite substantial.

read the red marked words again.

  • Has games in genre's that you can't play on PS360 such as point & click adventure. Monkey island XBLA 1 game? nice.. its point & click, you can play it on 360 so TC's point is moot.
  • The second largest number of high rated exclusive games after the PC.
  • It has an MMORPG. PS360 do not. FF 14 its not even out yet Final fantasy XI or monster hunter frontier online on 360 then.
  • Some games provide a totally unique experience. flower 1 game?
  • It's existing library pwns Move & Kinect. they're not even out yet just like FF14 I said that because more games are sure to be announced for 'em so they might get better games.
  • Has the best platform game ever made. opinion and what isnt? Tc said here are the main points, points usually mean facts.
  • Also some of the best rail shooters ever made.
  • Great for the whole family...
