I agree! Plus with 1st party franchises like Zelda, Mario, Metroid, and Super Smash. Along with 3rd party support like The Wonderfull 101, Bayonetta 2, ZombiU, and multiplats, this is going to be the system to own.

Everytime I read impressions from people who tried out the tablet controller they say the same thing, its confortable and light. I admit I was initially worried and was like "how can I compete in COD online with this thing?". After the past few weeks gamers have put my fears to rest regarding the tablet controller.

Eh, the tablet is alright, it's not exceptionally ergonomic though. I played on it for about 30+ minutes and at the end I was pretty blah about the whole thing. It's a damn tablet with a couple thumbsticks and buttons, that's about it. I'm not sure sure that it's going to feel good in the hands after 3+ hours of gaming, didn't seem like it would hold up well over the long haul but that remains to be seen.

All that really matters are the games and nintendo has a terrible track record in that regard. Incoming kiddie games no doubt with 1 or two adult games in there just so the core gamers won't murder them and drag their guts out into the streets.

We shall see...

Played one at Gamestop, controller was fine, I had no issue using it, and is going to be easy to, its a lot lighter then you'd think with the screen and all.

My iPad is better than that.

I highly doubt either system will be that expensive. Sony especially got burned by pricing the PS3 too high, so I would not be shocked if they try go design the PS4 so it's much cheaper to produce, while being more powerful then the PS3.

As for Microsoft, I doubt they are that stupid. They are doing well with the Xbox brand, so I doubt they will do anything to endanger that. Also, keep in mind Microsoft had to eat massive losses due to the development of the Xbox and Xbox 360. In fact, they never turned a profit on the original Xbox and only recently turned a profit on the 360 a few years ago. I don['t think they are going to suddenly put out hardware that will be difficult to easily make a profit with.

I would think that Sony and Microsoft are shooting for a cost-effective design that gives them more power then the current systems, while keeping it low for the consumer. I think $450 will be the max in terms of pricing. And I think it will be lower then that.

I never had any doubts. I thought it all sounded great from the get go, especially the possibilites with the controller. But of course, a lot of people on SW have no immagination and keep calling gimmick. I believe it will help deliver some cool new game play ideas, or help to refine old ones.

Watch it become the new standard for console controllers. I'll be laughing at all the haters.

The console itself is fine IMO it's just the 3rd party support when the nextbox and PS4 releases that I am worried about. Also don't like how we still don't know much of anything about the online yet smh.

Its still a gimmick. If it wasn't for the tablet they could sell it at $150-200 cause its not real next gen hardware its playing catch up to 360 and PS3. It also puts no pressure on MS or Sony at all and might delay real next gen until 2014.JohnnyCageMK

It's interesting you belittle the 360 and PS3 as machines with "just graphical overhauls" when they also have vastly superior physics, audio and ai over the Wii. Then you highlight the Wii Us so far marginal performance increase graphically and a higher ram capacity.

Also you should support Obama as well, the Democrats are the only educated politicians you have, and all the Republicans do is pander to the corporations, they fight for them, not the people.
