Incorrect.

The Sega Dreamcast costed, like 200 bucks and it blew away everyone when it came out (even PC gamers).

The NGC was pretty impressive when it came out too and also quite cheap.

And the N64 blew away everyone back in 1996 with it's smooth 3D graphics. (except for some stubborn Sega fanboys)

It's that type of visual jump some of us hoped the U would deliver but that doesn't seem so...

Dreamcast was $300.

Same as WiiU.

Except on WiiU, they sacrificed the hardware for the controller...

It's stronger than PS3 and 360 hardware, and the controller is what will set it apart from other systems.

the wii u is terrible. very bad console. nintendo tried to make an hd console and forgot the little things. it takes literally 30 seconds to switch between apps. the console is just simply slow. excruciatingly slow. ANY major 3rd part game can perform better on the ps3 or the 360, you buy the wii u basically for mario.kingoflife9

Agree and disagree. The Wii U is far from "terrible". It is the best system out right now, but will be 3rd in a year or 2. As far as the menus go...you are correct. They are slow, and Nintendo needs to fix this soon. As for 3rd party games performing better on teh PS3 and Xbox 360...That is correct, but it is because most of the games are ports right now. They were made for the Xbox and converted to Wii U. The fact that it can play the games as good as they do is a testimate to how good the system is. I am looking forward to games for the Wii U in the future, and know I will probably own the PS4 and Xbox 720 as well.

I think it's quite premature to say this will be Nintendo's last console. It's only been out for a little over a month. I think I maybe smell some bias in this article.

I bought a Wii U a few days ago and I think it has alot of potential if Nintendo plays their cards right.

No, not even close. But Nintendo does need a wake up all, they are just NOW getting with the times and releasing a current gen system. Nintendo will always be a gen behind it seems.
