Madden used to be good...

Not all sports games are rehashes. MLB The Show and NBA 2K do a good job of staying fresh every year and always make big improvements. EA has gotten lazy with Madden.

Well, like I said, losing third party support sucks but considering EA never properly had a base on Nintendo consoles, it isn't anywhere NEAR as bad as the Dreamcast situation, where SEGA's financial failures played a role in their retreat from the hardware business (something that NEVER happened to Ninty, even though it's, in lose terms, a "wet dream" for PS/XBOX fans just so they can play their games on the consoles they don't hate).

Yeah people don't understand that releasing a lot games lead to diminishing returns. Sony is by far the most diverse as far as 3rd party games are concerned.

Those Wii U numbers will never be repeated. It was an absolute fluke. Sony even at its worst will sell 80 million+ PS3s. Nintendo at its worst is 20 million!

Competition = lower sales overall? Even if you applied the rate of the jump from 2011 sales to 2012 sales for Sony for 2013 (which obviously isn't the same seeing as how sales were down for everyone,) you still fall over 100 million+ short of what the Wii has pushed. And if you want to be realistic, Nintendo also has a handheld to provide for, which Sony fell flat on its face doing. People loooove and continue to play Nintendo games while Sony's get dropped after a week.

don't care how the nintendo fanboys here try to damage control it, losing Madden is pretty big. It just makes the Wii-U look more unattractive because what else isn't it getting? Why should I pay 350 for a machine thats only good every once in a while when Nintendo puts out its first party titles. Because they like taking their time with their games. I knew the Wii-U was in a bad spot when people here were trying to hype Lego City, when has a lego title ever been big here to warrant a hype thread? Oh yeah the Wii-U has no  games so its honestly all the Wii-U has at the moment.
