Ok, here is my question, we know how Much Psp vita is gonna cost, and i expect the Wii u to cost $350. Now, The wii u cost $100 more but, it has superior Graphics and 1080p HD , also, the Wii u has a Handled Device, with bigger screen than Vita, and can interact with the Console gaming Experience, where the Psp Vita can't. Is Nintendo packing a 2 for One Experience here? I think This is a treat to Psp Vita, imagine parents gonna pay $250 for on portable device, or $350 for a console and a portable device. Your opinions?

The fact that the TC has 2 posts about sums up this topic.

didn't Iwata say that the wiiU controller does NOT function as a portable? The console has to be on and the controller has to be in range of it (my understanding)

The "handeld" your referring to is not a handheld. It's the controller for the Wii U.

Kotaku says that the controller works on WiFi spots to play Multiplayer, so it must work as a handled device.

You do realize you can't take the Wii U where ever you want right?

Well you could...you would just need to carry a generator. :P

It is not a handheld, it's a controller. The screen does not generate any images of its own, it just streams them from the console, which means that you must be in range of the home console. The farthest you can take this thing is probably around your house.

The controller has Battery's,

The hardware isn't in the controler, its in the actually console and the sound and audio are streamed wirelessly to the controler.

I'm getting the Wii U first on release and then a Vita down the road.
