At this point it's kind of hard to deny... Though, the quotations around games was really uncalled for as the Wii does have some excellent titles... And some excellent ones coming this year.

I know that they're focusing more on delivering games for the non-gaming crowd, and the only games really coming out for the more hardcore crowd are games in their established franchises. It's a sound strategy, but something new would be nice as well.If I'm not mistaken, Metroid, Mario, Smash, and Paper Mario are all coming out this year. Those four games alone could make it a hell of a year... Though it also makes me wonder if 2008 is going to be a gaming wasteland.

O man you sure owned me! Honestly though the core is a complete rip off compared to the premium.Â

[QUOTE="MasterChumly"]Why anyone would pay for a core is beyond me. -supercharged-Because it plays 360 games? That doesnt matter to sheep. They believe what they have been told. Its the 360 prem that is only playable. It helps with their justification of $250 for a Wii theory. Yes it was Oswald that did it. Nintendo = Warren commision

The Wii is overpriced, I wouldn't argue that either.Gamer46Well tech it's only 200 but if they scrapped including Wii Sports and included an extra wiimote and nunchuk for 250 there wouldnt be anything to complain about ;).

But the thing is there is still only ONE wii. So if your going to get a Wii you just get it. There are two 360's to choose from and I feel sorry for anyone who chooses the core. Now if the Wii does eventually get an upgrade then the same thing could be said. Although i think its less and less likely that they will.Â
I'm getting myself a Wii as soon as they can meet demand and I can just walk in and buy one. Already have an Xbox360. If could only choose one for now I'd say 360... more games, better 3rd party support, very good games just around the corner. Still, I look forward to having a wii.

Same thing with 360 in the Uk. From waht I remember, not until May could you walk into any shop and get one. At least not one not bundled. Then again at the ease, it takes to recycled those GC. It really shouldnt be too hard to keep up with demand. Then again I wouldnt put it past Nintendo to not try and create false demand, but using the we have low stock. Giving people a sense of oh I finally got one, I feel so lucky. My bud expressed this to me yesterday. I wept for him. At the same time his attutide was you can walk into a shop and get a PS3 anywhere. He doesnt seem to know that PS3 isnt out yet. He isnt hardcore anymore, but knows his computer stuff. Just kind of shows you once your out of the gaming loop, how easy it is to be conviced of things that isnt true. He also used the kids excuse when telling me about it. Funny he didnt buy any other games apart from Sonic, yet he did complain about the arms getting tired. I asked him if his new HDTV is cracked yet, and he told me he just got his Wii a couple of days ago. Anyway, maybe I might be a convert and be turned to teh darkside after thrashing out his new Nintendo console. I wasnt going to say Wii in that context. I do think I would be a bit worried about cracking his hdtv. I will also use him to see how many games he does get and se how bored he gets as a former lem and hermit. What I did find strange was that he talked about the 425 pounds being too much. For one thing he aint broke and earns quite a bit. I do think the price of the Wii was big factor in getting one, fun being the main other part. Then again I think what stopped him from getting a 360 was he price and right now the price point is helping the Wii more then I thought. No matter how you try to show the price isnt much for what you get. I think that people here will get teh Wii and a 360 when there is a proper price drop. Not because is expensive, but we like to get what we precieve as a bargin. I guess the Wii seems like that at 1st look.

If you had to choose between these two which would you choose and why? -supercharged-None. Because PC's can do what they both do and more.
