This is my opinion, and thats that. SNES>NES>Wii>Gamecube>N64 Wii > Gamecube is simply Gamecube plus other stuff, so yes > to me. If we going by games, Gamecube had Eternal Darkness and Pikmin and that wins me over. SNES bought me some of the best games; Earthbound, Super Metriod, Best Zelda IMO (Link to the past), A good mario game (World, not as good SMB3), many JPGs (especially FF6, Secret of Mana and Chronotrigger) and multiplat known as Zombies Ate My Neighbors. NES was a hard one to place because it being having alot of good games and alot of bad ones. Some of it games don't stack as well today, but others stand as firm (Duck Hunt, SMB1-3, Nightshade (to me), Bubble Bobble, and Excite Bike). I don't think Metriod stacks as well, nor does the Original Zelda. It did have alot of crap on the table, while bringing alot of good. So it could be mixed around a bit with Wii/Gamecube and NES. N64 did have some solid titles, but to me average out being weakest of the Nintendo consoles. It did have some strong ones like Goldeneye, Mario 64, Perfect Dark, Pokemon Stadium 1-2, Pokemon Snap (it could be thrown up there) and some others. Going onward to me feel a bit underwhelmed, It was good to say, just not great. I know some people will insist Gamecube was the weakest, I just don't see that. I see it being in the middle of greatness, not the best, but far being down there. Wii - Being a love hate type of console at times, It does have a great deal of good to great games, being some of the top like Super Mario Galaxy, Metriod Prime 3, and Zack & Wiki. Being an essential Gamecube pushes it up or lowers it. Good console in my eyes, with some faults.
Virtual Boy had one good game, Wario. I don't see how you can say Gamecube being the lesser, when it had quite a bit high recommanded games like Eternal Darkness, Resident Evil Remake, Metriod Prime, and Pikmin. And, tell me the last time a gamecube made your eyes bleed.
Ah let's see. N64 > Wii > GC > NES > SNES SNES last, since I owned one for such little time. But it's got an intense library, but not one I grew up with.
If the Xbox only played Xbox games, and the PlayStation played PS games AND Xbox games NO ONE would own an Xbox and everyone would say the PS is superior. It would be able to do more.
Logicly thats impossible.And the cost would sky rocket.
Well.....the wii has brawl....which has tabuu....WHICH IS A TOTAL EPIC WIN!!!!! Ok but now on a serious note it might be wii just because it can play the other games from the other systems.

Paper Mario was a great RPG. You obviously were too young to remember games like Secret of Mana (series) Final Fantasy (series) Chrono Trigger, Breath of Fire (series), EarthBound, Secret of Evermore, and Super Mario RPG (to name a few).
The SNES didn't even see true 3D until the Super FX chip. Star Fox, Dirt Trax FX, Stunt Race FX, Vortex, Doom, and Yoshi's Island were the only games ever released with that chip.
The trouble is that most of you weren't around when the SNES was a relevant console, let along the NES.NintendoSince83
i was i remember those days. i remember all the hype when dk country came out and how people said it was ahead of its time. i personaly was not impressed.

I'd really have to question anyone who says the Wii...XD And I don't understand all the love for the SNES either, I'd rather the Genesis anyday and I was only really big on Streets Of Rage and Sonic there...but anyways, my fave's probably the N64. So many amazing games, that funky little controller and the Pokemon Transfer Paks were cool. =)
