i think Wii's graphics at this time (being as developers are getting around to using the final product) are above the Xbox and will be some what below the 360, closer than most would think.

Look at RE4 and Lost Planet. LP is brighter, and RE4 intentionally darker. The Mario Galaxy pics look better than the Halo and on par with Deadrising in my mind. Sonic Wii looks better than Sonic 360/PS3 and Halo 2.

If you even think that Mario Galaxy looks good for the Wii, or Resident Evil 4, times that by 2 and you have a really good looking game.

I own all those systems (and MANY titles on all 3) So far, graphically, it's 360 > GC > Wii Yes, I know the Wii "should" destroy the best GC titles, so far, no game I've played does (yes, I own TP) 360 is FAR ahead of Wii (your cherrypicked photos notwithstanding) It not close at all. Tony_aaaa

cherrypicked? so SMG doesn't look better than Halo or deadrising? and RE4 doesn't look better than some 360 games? if RE4 does than that shows that if Nintendo uses the full power (RE4 times 2 to 2.5) than it'll be very pretty indeed. 360 pretty.

The reason why RE4 looks better than every Wii title out is because RE4 wasn't made by developers who half-ass games. The closest thing you get to RE4's level of visuals right now is Twilight Princess and Sonic.

Sonic looks on par to better on certain spots. the ground in NG looks blocky. The dirt around sonic looks better and more real. plus the blur is nice. gaiden has some detailed muscles,... hell MK has had that for  a while.

The Xbox graphics look better than both the GC and the Wii at the moment.  Wii really hasn't shown anything that looks better than what Xbox could produce.
Don't compare Wii to 360 graphics.  It's just foolish.
Start with Wii vs Xbox and when it can beat those try comparing Wii's graphics with a next gen console.

anyway, if RE4 looks that good and times the Wii's power by 2.5 then Wii games will look almost as good as 360 games.

you know you'd probably shut up if nintendo used the unreal engine for something. which epic has said the wii can handle it.

Wii does not (even "almost") come close to 360 (graphically) Wii will, eventually, pull ahead of Xbox1--probably after 6-9 months or so, every Wii title will look better than Xbox1 If you want Nintendo franchises + motion control, buy a Wii (I did)

but,  your Wii's just not big enough to get into a graphical pissing contest with the 360.
