Will 360 follow the Dreamcast and 3DO path ?

1. Well since January 2008 the only 360 AAA is Gears 2 and it got lower score than the first one .......

2. Plus one by one 360 receive flop title ( Halo Wars:lol:.......... Too Human:lol::lol::lol: )

3. And it seems MS already knew about how terrible their hardware is but still have the guts to release this faulty console about a year early to compete with Sony & Nintendo........... Desperate much ?

4. They still don`t want to support Blu-ray after suppporting a dead format ( HDDVD ).......

5. In a desperate act to compete with 2 gaming giants they pay 3rd party dev for exclusive game, exclusive dlc, timed exclusive and making exclusive game to be multiplat but seems it still not working ................

6. They have a weak first party game. Even their internal dev decide to part away for them.............

Ohhh the irony of this statement oozing out of a PS3 fans mouth. no matter how many games ps3 releases this year, itll never catch up to the ammount of quality games on the 360. go play killzone or drake on your HDVCR3 .

360 is outselling PS3 almost everywhere

The 8 million gap is getting bigger, not smaller

360 has 2 times more games

360 still has far more AE, AAE and AAAE games

360 has the better versions of all multiplats

360 costs half the PS3 price

OPINIONS:

360 has the better controller

it has the vetter online (quality online VS free online)

No, as always micrsoft prevails through handing out truckloads of cash to the right people. It doesn't matter if they made an operative system thats crap or a console that brakes if you as much as sneeze in its direction. They are great at comepting. No, I do not think the 360 is going to follow the Dreamcast/3DO path. It's approaching 30 million in total worldwide sales and is profitable, thereby making it more of a success than the Dreamcast and 3DO combined.

none of the current gen system even come close to what happened to the 3do.

the dreamcast on the other hand was one of the best systems ever made, it would have survived if sega had lots moneys like sony or M$.

Considering the worst games i played this generation are the 10/10 scoring ones (Gears 2, MGS4, LBP etc), i have to say nearly all my quality gaming time goes to 360, with the real deep and huge RPG's, nothing compares for me

After 3 years and now potentially the cheapest console to own, 1 year head start above the rest, more games and it's not even at 30 million sales. LMAO

My favourite arguement is that most PS2 owners have switched to the 360 LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!! 120 million+ PS2's sold WW and 28 million 360!LOL Thats not eve half!

If the rumours of a price drop for the PS3 are true we will see a distinct rise in PS3 sales. But I guess we all have to wait and see which one is the 3d0 or dreamcast of this gen. I say its the xbox. M$ needs to stick to improving windows.

I hate gaming, because i hate linear boring last gen designed games like MGS4, Killzone 2 and Gears 2 ?

Those for me, are the worst and most boring and overhyped/overscored games this generation

But then again, i am mainly a RPG gamer, so why did you expect me to love linear shooting and shallow things like that in the first place ?

Nah I wouldn't say dreamcast or 3do. It held its own but will it be obselete sooner than PS3? Probably not as far as user base. As games start to get more complex and the market and support higher end games, maybe. Killzone 2 already showed power that I have not seen on 360 but that is my opinion. MGS4 is debatable here if it is better than gears graphics wise. Uncharted is debatable here too. In the end we will have to see if PS3's killszone and other exclusives will sell units to catch up to or suprass 360. I believe 360 has 27 million systems sold and ps3 about 17. We will just have to see.

I love my ps3 and didn't like much of 360 before but as time went by you can't deny the library IF you like pc/western games. I think 360 really thrived after wester/pc games became the norm and japanese developers took a back seat. The original xbox opened that pc door to consoles so there are many different variables.

In the end I believe 360 will last 2 years more at the very least and that is long enough to be considered an established system. PS3 has the potential to move further but maybe by the time ps3 hits its true potential, Microsoft, nintendo etc might enter w/a new system. Who knows but we are now seeing the power of the ps3 which most 360 owners considered a myth that ps3 was more powerful. It seems more powerful for sure, but that doesn't win a console war. We saw that last gen when ps2 killed xbox and we all know which was more powerful.

Again i like that there is great competition. More choices for the consumer as a whole.

Of course thats what i do. I buy any game that interests me regardless of what platform it comes out on. However, on system wars, i mostly defend the console that recieves the most bashing or needs more support. i've gone from sheep, lemming, cow/sheep and now im more lemming. Its all just a bit of fun but like i said in real life i play all games that interest me (including PC games).
