halo reach is supposed to be bungie's last halo game for now. they will then start showing the new IP they have been working on.

Just like Halo 3 was supposed to be their last so they could work on new IPs. Riiiight. People still believe MS has no say in this.

Bungie never said Halo 3 was to be their last Halo game...

I just hope they release future games on the PC. I love Halo series, but I do not have a 360 :(

yeah but a new IP from a developer that made games that sell millions everytime. so I'm pretty sure MS has some faith in Bungie.

how many outside gaming sites even know who makes the games?

A lot, there's a reason all advertisements incorporate the name of the developer. Brand recognition makes things sell.

I think it will be multiplat. Thats one of the reasons why their next game wont be a Halo game i think

Microsoft still has first dibs so multiplat is not a factor. They broke apart for more creative control and more money but I am sure it was mainly just the money. They saw all the copies Halo sells and how much they lost out on.

No, Microsoft has first right of refusal, they can publish any Bungie game they like (ie - it wont be on PS3). More likely it will be a 360/PC affair.

Also as far as Microsoft having first dibs, the amount of sales/money Bungie brings and Bungie being one of the most well known and loved developers there is NO WAY Microsoft will not take advantage of the first dibs.
