Will Fable 2 be AAA or AAAA in gamespot ?

Well, it hardly had a tiny path world everyewhere, and it gave a sense of openness, but it is confirmed the levels will be vastly bigger in Fable 2, and i doubt they will not make this one bigger in everything

But i agree, if it is 10 hours, i might pass too, but if it was the case, they would not bother making it at all, if dissapointment was big before, now will be HUGE if that happens, i think they know it well now

Yeah, I remember those screens...:| what a bunch of BS.  Worse and shortest RPG I ever played.  The same day I opened it up was the same day I saw the credits, what a ******* rip-off.

Same thing happened to me with Gears, and i got the damn special version too, but i replayed Fable 2 times, so i got 3x the gameplay and fun than Gears, does that make Gears garbage then ?

Fable was fun for 8 hours and before you beat the main quest, after that there was nothing left but leveling on the few monsters that were left after you beat the main quest. Oh yeah, you can also hit on da ladys, that never got old.

It took me well over 15 hours to do most of the things, like demon doors etc, and i replayed it 3 times, that can only mean it was hugly fun to play, if they improve upon that, with better story, and vastly more things to see and do, the game will be killer, and i doubt they will not, it would be impossible and stupid to repeat the same mistakes a second time

Still this game got 8.6 in gamespot and good overall reviews too

A game can't be killed by hype,while Fable wasn't the revolution moleynoux intented it too be it was still a good rpg.

If moloynoux can pull off what he wants with the 360 then i think we have a definate AAA on our hands but AAAA?

Perhaps from ign/1up but maybe not from gamespot,however some game has too get an AAAA sometime in the future so this game would be a good bet if i had too choose one

If one game innovates this gen, so far it would be this one, i hardly see any other game with so innovative ideas, but if they will make them reality is another story

As for game time, it was 20  hours my first time, and 15 hours average, far more than Gears 7-8 hours, and it was as fun for me or more to be frank, so same or more fun for more time, does that make Gears garbage comparing to Fable ?

On to topic.  Fable was killed by hype, so please stop the massive hype for this.  However despite it being a huge flop, it still scored an 8.6 and was IMO better than most RPG's of last gen. 

They already nailed the art direction, soundtrack, and atmosphere with the first one.  All they have to do is extend the length and offer more items and quests.

I call it a flop, beat the game doing everything in 18.5hrs.

If Fable 2 does everything that the first Fable was supposed to do, then it definitely has a good shot at AAA.

However, considering that Peter Molyneux has a nasty tendency to have larger ideas than he can fit in his games, I'm not going to start getting too excited about it until the game gets much closer to release.

If you take it for face value with out bringing in the lies and hype, the game is extremely solid and deserving of an 8.6 IMO. 

And IMO, was much more entertaining and worth while than 90 percent of last gen RPG's.  The combat was excellent, with short coming in the length and variety of items and quests. 

I hope to god Fable 2 isn't a repeat of the first.

I'm on the same page with you, and I share the same sentiment.  Project Ego was promised as the second coming, but what we recieved was a solid RPG action game minus many many promises. 

Hardly what we were promised, but worthy of purchase and still solid. 

Fable 2 has a lot of ground to recover.

1. We use this site here, it's always been that way.
2. Sales don't stop things from flopping here.
3. It's a flop here on SW, I was here, I created the floated hype thread that listed all the supporters and haters (I was a supporter), it's a flop.

All of what you said is fine and dandy, and I loved the game. None of it stops it from being a flop.

If Fable 2 does everything that the first Fable was supposed to do, then it definitely has a good shot at AAA.
