Will Gears of war 3 story fail?

Both campaigns so far have been fun to play & replay, especially co-op. However it's the multiplayer (and Horde) that keeps me around. The beta has shown me that I have nothing to worry about.

In the game's defense, how can you write a decent story revolving around the meat-head characters in Gears. Might as well just concentrating on tearing...stuff up.

Well it can't get worse then gears 2.

Seems like Gears 3 will drop some big plot points with Adam Fenix. If they execute it properly the story could actually be pretty great for a shooter.

More like the biggest disappointment of all time. It's an alright game for what it is, but it's got absolutely nothing on the first game.

Gears 1 had a great story for a third person shooter, gears 2 upped the anty, gears 3 will do the same.
