When GOWA graphics looks this good! With the power of 8GB GDDR5 ram, 1.84TF gpu and 8 core CPU, can you imagine just what level of detail Sony Santa Monica studios can usher on PS4?

HAHA no, GOWA isn't even the best looking game on consoles, Kratos looks amazing, everyone else not so much
Unless the ingame graphics are created by pre-rendering ultra-high res images, downscaled to plain old HD, then no.Â
Eh on a 65" actually, unless you want me to post 720p gifs which the forum simply doesn't allow. The ingame shots are amazing non the less.Cool GIFs... I take it you're playing the game on a phone screen?
Better post some real shots... and to answer your question, nah, it'll take many years before we get a game coming close to a modern pre-rendered CGI...

[QUOTE="faizan_faizan"]That looks shyte, Last gen is really showing it's age.gpukingSeriously stop trolling my thread and go back to some buggy pc games. Your ass is hurt.
Yeah, Sony needs new IPs. Right, Batman?I'm hoping they give GOW a break and make a new IP instead. The game they make will look amazing either way.

Do we really need another God of War?funsohng
THIS!!
Instead of fighting how the visuals will look, let's debate the fact that we don't need another fvcking GOW, Ascension shows how stale the series really is and they need either a restart with NO KRATOS or just a new IP
Do we really need another God of War?funsohng
Or another Halo
Or another CoD
Or another Battlefield
Or another Mario
Or another Zelda
Or another Uncharted
Or another WoW expansion
Or another Killzone
Or another Starcraft expansion
Or another Assassin's Creed
Or another Crysis
Or another Gears of War
Â
Â
Ummmm...I think that about takes care of the major IP's for each platform. Wow, that's actually quite sad....

CoD and BF are different though. they're primarily MP games so you naturally continue them like you would FIFA or Madden. It's games that have a very story/narrative driven focus that become rather boring after 3 games.Â

amazing that this can be done on the 8 year old cell and GPU with only 256mb of ram to work with.
OMG 8GB DDR5, much better 8 core CPU, is going to be amazing. Sony is going to do some amazing things with PS4.
Yes Native 1080P with amazing lighting, effects, much higher texture count and AI should be expected from GOD Of War 4.
Not sure about CGI though.
Holy sh*t. I almost p*ssed myself with that second gif
Dayum, those gifs of GoW:A look awesome. Cant wait to play the game. Hermits will cry about this but both GoW3 and GoW:A impress me more than any Crysis 3 max, w/e even if its resolution, FXAA, etc etc isnt as good or non-existant. Scale helps alot in this case. Goes to show a well done set-piece moment impresses more than any anti-alising, res, fps, etc etc

God of War has no scale, there's a big difference between scale and nice looking backdrops... it's a highly linear game directed by camera angles.
