Aren't the people who have tested saying that it could be the best Halo yet? Not sure where I saw or heard that, but I'm thinking I remember it.

I know some people who have warmed up to the new changes, they didn't like the previous instalments because to them it plays on rails. They will lose some fans but gain more new players I think. I never got the whole Halo hype, the story is okay but the game is so boring.TommyBarban

I was watching QFT epidsode on Gamespot, and Tom Mcshea brought up a very interesting point.

Whatever the old Halos were, they are over. This is now a new game given into the hands of an "unproven developer" with nothing on their history. This could very much mean that Halo 4 could be a Big F*ck up.

Alot of other people agree with this, yet some lemmings will say...bu bu the secretary for some other game is now on the project. what do you think SW, Discuss how Halo 4 will fail, or will it be another mediocore shooter with the only exclusive online option for lemmings who are pretty much forced to say its the best.

You do realise that these unprovede developers have quite alot from bungie right ? - and they already did reach better , really cant say they aint thinking in the right direction and so imo gameplay looks better, same for gfx and overall design.

ps: Also you are you of the worst cows around here, i should expect or atleast put some effort in it - onlt mad cows want/hoping that halo will fail, so they gain some sort of achievement for doing so, rather hilarious but sad actually .

According to people who have actually played the game, they all say it's become like COD now. There are even kill streaks and you have things like Fore Runner vision which let's you see through walls.

But everyone has a different opinion, I wouldn't mind if it became more like COD because COD is the better game IMO. It's making some Halo fans discourged though. I'm more interested in the SP, Bungie made crap campaigns, so hopefully 343 can do a better job.

But I've never been the biggest Halo fan, I kinda grew out of it after Halo 2. To me Gears has always been the best exclusive series on 360.

I am glad there is another company making Halo 4. I liked Reach, but when I play it I think to myself "Halo has become stale". I am looking forward to seeing what new blood will bring to the franchise.

I... don't think you read the article on GS correctly. They are expanding 343 Industries, not contracting out future Halo development.

They could as well change nothing in gameplay from the code they already have from Halo 1-2-3-Reach and be fine

I dont see how you can go wrong starting with a perfect game as base and playing safe

Even the worst developer could make a stunning Halo game when he can have all the code from the previous games in his disposal

It is not like they are staring everything from scratch

And frankly 343 seems way more capable than Bangie, at least in graphics they have surpassed Halo Reach by generations visually, Halo 4 looks like a next gen game and better than all PS3 coming games combined, i dont see anything "unproven" about them really

do you think MS will hand over a critically acclaimed franchise with record breaking sales to an unproven developer and let them f*ck up the game and then release it? all the videos I've seen clearly show the game is in safe hands, it will be another awesome Halo and haters will continue to suffer from depression after seeing it's success

It not only is a Halo game, that has not been surpassed by anything in 10+ years now, but also looks better than anything on PS3 and PC

It is like a huge nail to the coffin of PS3/PC and it creates extreme fear and desparation in PC/PS3 fan hearts

I am sure the two threads we see today bashing Halo, will become 200+ as we come closer to the release of the most behemoth title of the last 15 years
