a rated E verision of a wana be GOWRTUUMMwannabe? I'm sorry, but Kid Icarus is a quarter of a century older than God of War, it is in no way 'wannabe.' Respect chronology in your posts, please.

What are you expecting it to be? we have all ready seen a trailer It's not on rails, it's action adventure. The flight game play will be like Sin and punishment or Star fox (On rails) We don't know how much of the game will be flight any way[QUOTE="toast_burner"][QUOTE="Ross_the_Boss6"]

What are you expecting it to be? we have all ready seen a trailer It's not on rails, it's action adventure. The Air Combat looks like the standard Rail Shooter combat. The on the ground areas it is a full 3D action Adventure. You only have 5 minutes to get to the ground.[QUOTE="toast_burner"][QUOTE="Ross_the_Boss6"]

So whenever we take to th air, the game guides us, but we can cotrol it otherwise, right? But by that reckoning, God of War II was on rails, because the flight sections of that game (Pegasus, Phoenbix etc) were also guided experiences. Icarus is NOT on rails thn, I would say ;) :PNintendo_Ownes7

I say we still wait for the game to be released, or at least for it to get closer to release, before we tag it with a genre, at least such a maligned one.

Also Rail shooters are great (Sin and punishment 2 is one of the best games this gen)

Exactly. That's how it was in God of War II's flight sections. I know most likely the flight sections of Icarus will be guided, but I'm hoping the game itself is action adventure. The trailer didnt confirm any of that though. I know, and I like them. system Wars doesn't, and we dont want the entire forum dismissing the game just because they think its on rails, even though it might not be :oPlease Log In to post.
