Will kingdom come deliverance Own witcher 3?

so my fellow gamers and friends, i have been watching some footages of kingdom come. after bieng dissapointed by witcher 3 i feel like they are doing really good job to the game. i mean look at combat. by far worst aspect of witcher 3 and in this game it looks really excellent. its first person means controlling would not be as bad as witcher 3.

witcher 3 has type of combat that make assassins creed combat masterpiece. and controlling was awful. now i dont think witcher 3 is bad game, its alright. 7/10 game. it has excellent world and lore but gameplay suck and story is very boring. kingdom come on other hand has potential and feel like much better game. plus its being made by developer who made Mafia 1.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance looks like a great game but I doubt that it'll surpass any game from The Witcher trilogy.

replaying through Witcher 3 again and i still amazed at how much content they managed to fill inside this game, they could have easily sold the Skellige Isles as DLC if they wanted.

game has much content but it has AWFUL combat system, controlling, awful story and characters, useless ciri missions that are hack n slash.

Ehehe no. I don't, that said I have rather big expectations from Kingdom Come, maybe too big.

I Fear for anything story related in the game, for better or worse partly because it is based on relatively accurate history. That is its greatest strength and biggest weakness, combat looks great yeah :) But Story I can almost forsee being lackluster, and from what I have seen I could hardly care about anyone in that world.

Combat is great, but if you do not give me a compelling reason for the combat then the game kind of fails as an RPG.

That said we know very little about the story, I really hope they go for all out realism of the medieval age, I would even prefer the kind of story that would exist in the real medieval age, despite the real world does not have that many great compelling stories.

The result sadly is that we will likely get a good with fairly good gameplay, a good detail to history (and I will blow a fuse if they are pestered to rewrite the focus on history to accomidate a few screwballs). But everything else so far seems fairly average, it is what I expect and in truth what I hope.

Give me a world that may have a bland every day, that may not be about huge heroic deeds, give me an RPG where I am not the centre of everything.

seriously. im amazed how come reviewers put 10/10 and masterpiece to this game. when series was better it was not even get any attention now it become greatest thing in the world.

10/10 game can not have basic thing core gameplay really suck. and if we talk about story. its really boring and dialouges are too robotic that i forced to skip over and over and over again to the point it feel like telltale adventure game. basically talking simulator.

that video you posted was absolutely pathetic almost laughable, the amount of nitpicking is horrendous , at 3 minutes he put the difficulty to deathmarch and promised he will slaughter his opponents only to spend the next entire minute cowering back and trying to regain health, thanks for the good laugh,

TW3 sucked so it shouldn't be hard

In terms of depth and combat design? Any game can clown the Witcher 3, or any of its predecessors in that department. Quality of writing, questing, setting, and atmosphere? Much harder to top in that regard.

Witcher 3 was awfully good, but I do agree that the combat was super clunky. I really hope Kingdom Come is a great game. The premise for it is really awesome!

For some reason the combat is something people either hater or... maybe not love, but like? I personally liked it, I had to use some strategy, I liked that I had a light and a heavy attack (like in Dark Souls, Bloodborne etc) and two evade actions. All that plus using different spells and potions before and during the battle. I've finished the game two times + DLC, so it never got old for me either.

look at Doom combat. best shooting since FEAR 1 and look at combat of witcher 3 that is one of the world worst.

also the witcher series should learn from shadow warrior how to do a good sword play mechanics

Story was fine at first but its just all about geralt finding ashen hair woman over and over again to the point it become chore and boring. characters are shallow especially ciri and yen. and main villain is just one linear apear at very end. geralt speaks like robot. however i really like the lore and universe of game. cant say same about story and gameplay.

For first time i agree with you on something, The Witcher Trilogy combat sure sucks lol.

so what if the witcher 3 combat isn't top notch when about everything else in the game is masterfully done? It's not w/o a reason that it's the most critically acclaimed game for a long time.

I'll be positively surprised if Doom manages to deliver, mp at least doesn't look great based on the beta

It does divide people a lot. I didn't think it was perfect but i enjoyed it and if you utilise your signs properly there's quite a bit of variety. I would say that it's definitely far too easy later on at the normal difficulty when Quen makes you almost invincible. The first few boss fights are way harder than the last few.

NG+ at death march turned out to be too hard for me, especially when I had to close those portals with Keira.

Again your opinion, the majority of user critics and professional critics think the game is great.

I don't think the games will be overly comparable, apart from the Dark Ages/Medieval setting. I think it'll be a great game but very different to The Witcher series.

Witcher 3 is my favourite game of all time. I've been a fan since 2011, I recommended Witcher 2 to myself, after making fun of Geralt's long hair, checking screen shots & gameplay. Finished Witcher 2 four times, then finished Witcher 1, finished Witcher 2 one last time. Kingdom Deliverance looks awesome, but at same time to me, it looks abit like Skyrim, which's a bad thing for me.

Why does every single first person melee game have better combat than anything Bethesda has ever put out, even with like 1/100th the budget?

Seriously Fallout 4 melee combat is potentially the worst I have ever experiences, it's like they are actually regressing from bad to horrible.

As a a competitive Chivalry player and huge M&B fan, this game has gotten me going for over a year since the devs who were ex competitive Chivalry players themselves subtly announced it (originally dubbed "Slasher"). They have gone a long way and recently transferred the game to Unreal Engine 4 and this is the most comprehensive work they have shown us on the new engine and melee combat. Mordhau is a swordsmanship move from the medieval era, and they literally showed it off in this video. Good to see they are still working on this and looking forward to the Kickstarter. I would like to see Mordhau be successful so I can see what competition does for this genre of game.

In these games size actually does matter and I've heard this game is pretty small considering. I'm hoping it's just the chapter in question but ultimately I want to see some mountains miles in the distance and think, I wonder what's over there?

It's still on my radar though but I doubt it will surpass Witcher 3.

TW3 is a masterpiece, it will be really hard to beat it. So I will say no, it would take an even better team than CDPR and I don't think one exists.

Honestly I feel like TC didn't play The Witcher 3 if TC is comparing it to Assassins Creeds combat and saying AC has better combat. I really don't understand why some say it's combat is terrible. I have no issue with the controls in combat. It has variety, switching up signs, defending, parrying, attacking light/ heavy, different skills in the skill set to change some moves. For a third person action RPG I really don't know what people are expecting. It's more complex than other Action RPGs and I have never found an issue with the actual controls. Most issue I had is wanting to check out an item but Geralt moves just slightly too much and I miss the button prompt and have to readjust him again to get the prompt back. Or the freaking puddles you can get stuck in, but non the less, it's an amazing game. One that I have felt compelled to do every Monster Hunt, Side Quest, collect all the gwent cards and so forth. The world is fascinating, but maybe it's because I have played W1 and W2 before W3 and started reading the The Last Wish book and plan on getting the rest. (I just don't read books that often, it's basically my on a trip entertainment when I don't have to drive). I want to read more, but I end up playing the games instead in my freetime. Anywho, the world, story and characters are not boring.

Anyway it's an opinion. But mine is it's going to take a lot to dethrone witcher 3 and the only game I can see possibly doing that is Mass Effect Andromeda. Kingdom Come Deliverance looks interesting, but for me the big downfall is no fantasy, no magic. It basically looks like Elder Scrolls without the fantasy and magic. So personally the game world seems more drab and boring to me.

They seem like two entirely different games. The Witcher is a fictional fantasy game while Deliverance is a realism-oriented game.

It's because they don't have to try anymore. They put out a game with "Elder Scrolls" or "Fallout" on the box and they make their bank and move on. Fixing about 45% of the bugs and problems post-release while letting the mod community fix the rest.
