Will Lemmings admit ownage if Halo 3/Bioshock/Mass Effect don't get GOTY?

I mean, you see tons of lemmings thinking as if it matters what they say when it comes to "candidates for GOTY". It's just really pathetic, there are alot of games which deserve the award and could get the award. Crysis sure does look amazing. Super Mario Galaxy looks awesome. Wolf Quest is somehow being hyped goty, don't quite understand this one. Assassin's Creed is huge. And sadly, Littlebigplanet/Spore couldn't make it this year.

Am I saying these games won't get nominated? No. Am I saying they will get GOTY? NO. But, really, lemmings, alot of games haven't even been thoroughly previewed, reviewed, or even played (thorougly) it's pretty early to call GOTY. For all we know, there will be a huge accident at Bioware studios tomorrow, and all the data of Mass Effect will be gone. Perhaps Ratchet and clank: Future tools of destruction gets an amazingly awesome feature that stuns everyone. Perhaps Wiifit sells so much people have to give it the award.

NO game is guarenteed GOTY this early in it's lifespan.

Meh thats not that big of a deal.. The game recieved AAA's from 90% of all reviewers.. In the end the majority usaully always is more accurate then looking into specifically one opinion.

The only game i see being competition to these games(not because of my personal opinion) is crysis.

HOWEVER, they will absolutely NOT admit ownage when Halo 3 does not get GOTY. They will be worse than all the Twilight Princess complainers when it got 8.8. In fact, when Halo 3 does not get GOTY, I bet you that there will be more people banned from immature, idiotic posts than ever before. I'm serious. Listen to me lemmings, and listen good. Halo 3 is not Godly. Halo 3 is NOT going to get GOTY. I know that many of you somehow, for some strange reason believe it will. But it won't. Halo 1 did not get GOTY. Halo 2 did not get GOTY. The majority of people didn't expect God of War 2 to get GOTY, but they still expected quality.

Think about it... Look at the 360's end of year lineup...

Bioshock - Has HUGE potential to be GOTY..

Halo 3 - Has a rather large potential to be GOTY..

Mass Effect - Has a HUGE potential to be GOTY.

What does the other system's have in that regard? Mario Galaxy has huge potential but that's about it.. I really don't see MP3 getting that honor. And that's about it for the wii.. Sales don't equal AAA/GOTY status my friends.. And I can't think of a single PS3 game that I believe will get GOTY honors.. I'm sure they'll be some AAA games in there, but I don't see GOTY.

I think you'll hear the 12-year-old Halo fanboys claim that H3 will be GOTY, but that's it. Lemms know that H3 will be good, but not GOTY good. Still, as far as sales go and games played online go, Halo 3 will probably be King. GOTY? No.

Most Lemms will say Bioshock or Mass Effect as GOTY. I would go as far as to say that COD4 has a better chance to be GOTY than Halo 3. I just haven't seen enough from Crysis beyond some nice graphics to see, gameplay-wise, how it stacks up against deeper games like Bioshock and ME.

I thought briefly about UT3, but I just don't see how this game could contend for GOTY. No story. Shallow, mindless gameplay. Fun? Yes. GOTY? No way.
