Will next gen consoles be able to do this? no 56k or Crysis

I'm sorry but if you know me, you know I'm going to post some Crysis screenies. Such a shame I have'nt had time to get onwards with my campaign replay, I think I'm done with tweaks for now.

Time to get a new batch and a new photobucket account....

They had better do a whole lot better than a bunch of photo textures slapped on some buildings and cars. ;)

I next gen will probably look a little bit better than that, but I have a feeling that next gen will focus more on getting all games to run at 1080p with 120FPS. Graphical advancements will probably take backseat to performance enhancements next gen.

We're going to see 120 fps when TV screens and monitors have a refresh rate of 120 as standard in even the cheap models.

The vast minority right now, can't see beyond 60 fps, not because that's the human eye limit but because that's the damn rate most of our screens refresh at. Anything beyond, is noticed as screen tearing and is the direct reason that V-Sync is pure gold.

I'm not sure why, but that looks awful. It looks like someone put photoshop pictures they found on the net, into the game.
