Well.. If you're counting Splinter Cell for 360, you might as well count that baseball game for PS3.[QUOTE="aaronmullan"][QUOTE="Fizzman"]
Lets just assume that every 360 game gets AAA from here on out SC, Forza III, and Halo ODST. Now lets also assume the remainder of this years PS3 games also get AAA. UC2, and MAG, That would be a roughly 3 games vs 4 games total for the year 2009. So I think it definitely makes up for the 360's slow start.

whatever lets include L4D2 while your at it too then. The point is that the 360 is going to have a fantastic year. Contrary to what most fanboys think.
Not as fantastic as the years before, though. That's what I'm trying to say.Conviction is multiplat and you know what they say about those. Forza 3, Halo ODST and GTA Mission Pack disc can all score AAA.-Pred-Alien-It's kinda sad that the biggest excl. I'm looking forward to all year is an expansion pack. I still think there's a good chance SCC will come to PS3. 3rd parties simply cannot be trusted which is why I think in the next couple years MS won't be able to keep up exclusive wise.
no,neither of those games are gonna score"AAAE" lol
but only if you just look at exclusives would i say 09 is a bad year for 360 theres like 8 or 9 games still coming out this year i wanna get
[QUOTE="Deathtransit"]Chutebox- Well, it's far from a great year as well. Lukewarm waterChuteboxI'd say it's decent, so ya. Mediocre seems more fitting than "decent"
I'm about as excited for that as I was for the MLB game, but there's one at least. U2 is an instant AAAe and much more appealing. Too bad ME2 couldn't make it this year.FM3 is an instant AAAE.

ODST + SC: Conviction + Halo Wars = not too shabby. A far cry from 2007 but not too shabby at all.Floppy_Jim
I really didn't care about Halo Wars too much personally :P
Though Crackdown 2, Halo: Reach, Alan Wake + Natal should make a pretty interesting 2010 :P

Mediocre seems more fitting than "decent" On Gamespot, mediocre is 5, and seeing how most 360 exclusives are 7.5s in 2009, which means good, I'll say it's decent.

Halo Wars was awesome :o Doesn't get the credit it deserves in these parts. 2010, I think it'll give the PS3 a run for it's money next year, it's looking really solid.ODST + SC: Conviction + Halo Wars = not too shabby. Pretty soon Xbox will only have Halo since the ME, SC, and even possibly Gears franchises might come to PS. MS is taking a huge risk relying on third parties. If MGS can go to 360, those franchises could come to PS3

Yeah, next year seems pretty even for Microsoft and Sony, I'm interested to see what else get's announced by both of them.
And I'm interested to see which Motion Controller comes out on top :P Sony's seems like they're not really taking it seriously, and just kinda throwing something out there, and it's coming out pretty soon for next Spring, I hope something comes out with it. Microsoft seems like they're really pushing Natal which could be really awesome, or really lame.

Was anyone else surprised Fable 2 sold like 3 million copies in it's first week? My mind was blown. Microsoft can market games pretty well (Most of the time.)

Yeah that was impressive, and I think Fable on the first Xbox was also pretty big too.360's fall is looking good as is Sony's. The Wii isn't doing half bad. Toriko42
Yeah I agree, I really don't care much about Ratchet anymore and Heavy Rain isn't coming out this year. So all it is for me is Uncharted 2.
Though inFAMOUS was really good, and I STILL haven't played Killzone 2.

Halo isn't a big enough reason to buy a console for me but I know it is for others, MS owe there success with Xbox to them , I think Fable isn't that huge and really isn't even that good (not even close to ME). I personally don't care for Forza but once GT5 comes out new console buyers will have a race game either way. I don't think Gears will come to PS but it could. I was so disappointed with Fable 2.

I don't think Fable 3 will be as huge, i think alot of gamers were disappointed with 2. Unless they revamp completely the "action" portion and add some RPG depth. Now I've played two of the 360 exclusives that have released this year. Ninja Blade and Star Ocean which to me are both incredible fun games. But to alot of people the 360 has had a weak year in the games department. My question is can SC:conviction and ODST make up in the quality that the 360 has been lacking most of the year? I am super excited for Conviction though it's gonna be awesome.
Animal-Mother
Ninja Blade is awesome and I wish it came out on the PS3, however, I liked demon's souls more so I'm glad we've got that game. I played a little bit of ninja blade and I liked how the game was pure action + QTEs. It was actually a really fun game. Star Ocean is more of a good gameplay with weird anime bad voice acting/story type of game. Although I wish the ps3 had this game as well, I could do without it.
All in all, the 360 hasn't had that bad of a year. I've still been waiting on a few more games to come out for it that I want (I'm not a huge FPS fan), so we'll see how it does in 2010 before I make that decision.

No, SC Conviction will be a good game though. Neither of these games will get AAAE.djsifer01Sc is an AAA franchise, and so is Halo, why would hese not get AAA?

And its not 'just' an expansion pack, its coming out at $60 so its going to be judged as a full game. And last time i checked, despite Crysis Warhead retailing cheaper, having a shorter SP and improved but mostly the same MP, it scored AAAe. Heck despite all that, its a much better game than the first.
