Will Red Dead Redemption 2 be 60 FPS on X1X and PS4 Pro?

Wondering if X1X and PS4 Pro will have a mode for 1080p/60fps. I think there was a rumor that they will use X1X to showcase RDR2 in 4k, but I would rather have it be 60 FPS than 4k. Any word on if PS4 pro will have 60 fps as well? This will be a big deciding factor for me.

Since when did console gamers care about 60fps all of a sudden now? I thought you guys care about 4K?

We do not know but I seriously doubt it with the PS4. The best version will clearly be the Xbox One X.

Probably neither of the 2 will be 60fps. Phil Spencer said nobody cares about 60fps lol. The PS4 would probably have some extra content though due to their deals. Best bet: PC if it ever comes out there

Neither will be 60fps. Their shifty Jaguar CPUs can't handle 60fps. Stick with PCs if you want 60fps or above gaming.

If you really care about 60fps so damn much, then play your games on a PC if you truly care for 60fps. The current-gen consoles can't give you what you want due to there shitty CPU, only investing PC can.

I'm tired of Rockstars BS attitude lately and they been milking GTAV forever, no single player DLC in sight like we were promise and them going to make Red Dead Redemption 2 wasn't on my mind to begin with. Even if it does comes to PC, I still would bother buying it, not at launch to say the least.

Well it was my favorite game last gen and it's a big deal to me. I think it was better than all the GTA's. Whichever console it performs better on will most likely be the console I get.

All systems will be 30fps. The only noticeable difference in any of them will be resolution, and even that won't matter much unless you compare side by side.

I think that it would cool if this and more console games have these kind of options.

I'd rather it be 4k/30fps, and crank up the graphics.

i wish the pro would let me output lower resolutions for higher frame rates.....

i also wish i had a console that could output 4k/60 as a minimum standard

I looked it up, apparently there's a petition to have this game released for PC. That sucks, I would be pissed off if I had a powerful rig and can't play this game. I REALLY love this series, and I feel bad for people that can't experience it.

Considering how CPU intensive Rockstar games tend to be, i doubt it.

XB1 X maybe if they use DX12, but i doubht it.

Red Dead Revolver was not on PC either, I don't buy this video. Both entries into this franchise have skipped the PC entirely so as I said I wouldn't bet on this game making an appearance.

Nope. Red Dead Redemption 1 is only available on Xbox 360 and PS3. Fast PC can play RDR 1 via PS3 emulation.

Well, QB is pure DX12 game and it won't be 60fps on XboneX. And Xbone fans still hope that DX12 is some magical sauce.

It improves instruction efficiencies and makes better use of the CPU for feeding the GPU. It's not some magical sauce, it's just a better API.

Who even said Quantum Break would be 60 FPS? I mean it may be possible with their original rendering model, who knows.

I never said it would be. But when some Xbone fan still bringing "it won't be 60 fps because devs won't use DX12", it is still referred to Xbone fans dream about DX12 secret sauce after all these years. That's why i mentioned QB is pure DX12 and it won't be 60fps on Xbone.
