After playing the demo, I got way less excited for it. For one, I really couldn't figure what all the hype on the graphics was coming from. GearsII already looks better. How could this be put in for King?

And, on the gameplay, I didn't feel like I was treading new ground. I didn't feel wow'd while playing it.
Maybe it wasn't as exciting to me, because I played the hell out of RE:4? I don't know.
It'll still be a day one purchase regardless of all these things. But, it won't be as groundbreaking as RE:4, imo.
Even if I didn't like RE:4 as an RE game, it was still a well made game. RE:5 will still be good, I'm sure, but I don't see it wow'ing the public like 4 did. If anything is to be said for the demo, anyways.
Yes, I think it will live up to the greatness of RE4, but NO, I don't think it will wow me as much as RE4 did. RE4 did something completely different with the franchise, where as, RE5 will not. peaceful_anger
Agreed. I don't think any future Resident Evil game will be able to wow us like RE4 did.
RE5 looks great, but unfortunately it's not going to be at all scary. For RE6, I think Capcom needs to give the franchise another reinvention and try to make it scary again. Taking a cue from Dead Space would be a good start.Timstuff
Doesn't need a reinvention..just make more levels like RE4 Island(regeneration bits).
it should be a great game just don't expect revolutionary changes it'll basically be RE4 with better graphics, which is fine by me only tihnk worrying me is sheva .. resi works better solo IMO, not with co-op, especially not when you need to baby-sit an AI

Its a lot harder? from what i have seen the AI is dumber than dirt.
And the AI was incredible in Resident Evil 4? -_- You can't be serious. This isn't an FPS, where the AI has to be good for it to have difficulty. Oh wait, my bad, you were just trolling obviously.Â
