considering the ps3 hardware dates from 2004 it really isn't that hard to belove. psp was just about as powerful as ps2. Just because it is powerful doesn't mean it will have terrible battery life. a modern netbook cpu beats highend cpus from 2005 and uses a smigin on the power. imprezawrx500
probably the only post in this thread that make sense so far. All i see in this topic mostly are some cows claiming its more powerful from 360 and not PS3 as if the PS3 and 360 difference is something huge While i wont say its as powerful i do believe it will be closer to Ps3 than lets say a PS 2,5 . Take for example a dual core i7 low coltage mobile cpu ( that is used in netbooks) and compare it with the faster 2004-2005 desktop CPU . That i7 its much better. Of course the PSP2 its not a netbook but it isnt exactly a small pocket friendly device ( consodering it has a 5" screen) and if along with a quad Cpu is using nvidias tegra 2 i would say its closer to PS3 than people think
and we still haven't seen one game that really benefits from blu-ray. Maybe next gen. emorainbo

Honestly I think MGS4 would be better if it was just on 4 disks rather than 1 ultra compressed BR MGS4 had excellent sound quality, it was not "ultra compressed". :|
Will the games look as good as the PS3? Well if you take into account that it only has to put them ona 5 inch OLED screen then yes . So although the visual quality will be identical its due to the fact that it only has to output the visuals on a 5 inch screen.
