Will the Nintendo DS never die?

Even as the 3DS moves from strength to strenght on the back of record breaking sales, incredible new AAA titles, both at retail and available digitally, new colors and bundles and increased third party support, the DS itself seems to be unwilling to die, and sells a respactable amount every month.As a matter of fact, it seems to have found a new lease of life recently, what with the just released Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 and the announcement that the eagerly awaited Pokemon Black/White 2 will in fact be DS games and not 3DS, as expected.Will the DS ever die? It seems that like the PS2, which was another incredible system, the handheld is just unwilling to fade into obscurity.

Considering a Pokemon is lined up for it, it's still got a bit of life in it. I wonder if it'll break the 200mil mark. That'll be some feat. The 3DS I can imagine will follow in its footsteps, looking at the type of library and such.
