Will the Wii even sell 2 million next year ?

Just because you don't know its lineup, doesn't make it that.Knowing nothing does not equal nothing. I am sorry but, if you knew your facts, you would know this would be the 4th Mario Kart on console(SNES, N64, GC, Wii). Please get informed. One a generation since SNES, and one on handhelds. They only thing that Mario that goes in high digits in the average Mario Party games..

I think those are worldwide sold numbers. Still, not too bad as Ubisoft is making sequels to both of these games. Personally, I can't wait for Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 :)

trauma centre wii is atlus' best selling game in north america

the bigs, tiger woods 07 both sold the best on wii, and the wii vesion of tiger woods 08 jut sold three times as much as the ps3 version in its first week.

call of duty 3 sold better on wii than it did on ps3

dragon quest wii sold 300 000 copies in its first week in japan

sonic on the wii sold better than the ps3 and 360 sonic games

re4 wii edition has reportedly sold 750 000 copies and is still doing 20k a week in america (when you factor in development costs this game will likely have made more profit for capcom than either dead rising or lost planet did :o )

now its not much, but 3rd parties are having a better time with the wii than they are with the ps3 thats for sure.

I just got my 2nd Wii earlier today....i got it for me and my fiance. have been playing corruption on my 8 ft screen (projector) 8) the first one i gave to my younger brothers and i got that one at launch. gonna have a wii party next week with my college buddies and they are providing the liquor:D

thats it? gta4 and dmc4? even with those, i doubt it will be dead so soon. im on the fence about gta4. i enjoyed 3 and vice city, but i was kinda bored with san andreas, even with the additions it had. it started to feel like same old same old. if gta4 wants to make me a definite buyer, it better have something that will pull me back in. ive never played the dmc series so i cant give an honest opinion about that.

ninja gaiden sigma is falling off the charts with less than 100k sold in NA

hot shots golf 4 on the ps2 sold almost 2 million copies in japan, whereas hot shots golf 5 on the ps3is struggling to pass 300k:lol:

folklore bombed bigtime with only 55k sold in about 9 weeks

oblivion which sold 1.8 million on the 360 has sold less than 400k on the ps3 :lol:

the darkness, rainbow six vegasand GRAW 2 on ps3 also bombed

not even first party sony games are selling, motorstorm (ranked as ps3's 2nd best seller) has only sold 315k in NA :lol: so don't even try to used the "3rd parties don't sell on wii :cry: " BS and then say that developers will choose to make exclusiveps3 games when they are doing this bad:lol:

Fail.. Notice the distinct lack of 3rd party support lately? Its because Devs did not want to touch the Wii after A) Coming from a horrible gen where the gamecube was last place B) Did not have cutting edge graphics which most thought was the selling point, and C) was using a completely new experimental technology that has never been tested before..

People need to stop pointing the finger at Nintendo, becuase they have given 3rd party devs every opertunity to make games for their system.. Now sense the huge boom of sales the devs have basically apologized publicaly on how little or not resources they put int he Wii.. If a item is popular its garenteed to have more games.. I would think people would realize this from Dreamcast..

I think in the UK NOE had an advertising campaign in movie theatres where they would have two people playing Wii Sports on the big screen before the movie starts. That is an ingenious advertising campaign.

how do you know what they have planned next year? they've only revealed the quarter 1 lineup. GTA 4 isn't even exclusive to anything. wii is the most popular console ever, don't underestimate what its big games will sell

there seems to be two ways the wii could go:

market forces and past patterns could hold, and the wii could sell twice as much as this year, with increased supply, lowered costs, and more games. A console that hit its stride which sustains its notoriety.

Even if they added online (which insane casuals dont care about nor do they understand ) it wouldnt sell.And I doubt 4 million americans would buy wii sports at $50 .
