Will there be other games created with the Killzone level of graphics?

killzone2 looks better than gears of war 2? maybe in some aspects but overall gears of war 2 wins.

look this picture is from realtime cut scene, the models/textures everything looks exact same during gameplay the graphics arent prettied up for cutscenes.

reason cut scene looks better because you can see infront of ur model.

i guess all of gamespots gears of war 2 screenshots r bullshots because none have jaggies full res.

i think people should accept xbox360 is overall the better console at graphics, even john carmack said they had to do twice as much work on ps3 rage just to get it to xbox360's level, ps3 version will overall look better due to blu ray and john carmack shipping it on 2 disk on 360 would of looked better on 360 if used 3 but microsoft charge too much money per disk dev's use.

he said it makes him mad people will think ps3 is more powerful because of that, he said it's not true truth is we had to work much harder on ps3 version just to get it to xbox level, but storage medium held 360 back.

I also hope more shooters learn from killzone 2's maps, they look brilliant, and I love how multistorey it all is.

The graphics aren't all there hyped up to be. Make no mistake this isn't the same leap we saw when gears of war came, or crysis this is a much smaller leap and will be beaten the fact RE5/gears 2 and so on are giving it a run for it's money shows that. KZ2 will be beaten by the end of next year.

lol people try to make gears of war 2 look bad by posting this multiplayer screenshot of this crap wall texture, every game has some bad textures including crysis.

Undoubtedly, as they will for 360... PC has already surpassed though

let me tell you all the textures in killzone2 multiplayer are perfect see this wall texture looks amazing lol

every game gears of war 2,killzone2,crysis all have some good looking textures but also some bad looking ones no game ever has perfect/consistent texture work.

gears of war 2 overall wins at models/textures

killzone2 wins at lighting and shader effects.

atleast from my view.

its a great game (love the mp) but imo the graphic are way overrated

No. 5 years ago we had Far Cry, Doom 3, and Half Life 2 and that was in 2004 and none come close. Far Cry for the 360 looks way better then Far Cry on PC maxed. Those were also the 3 best looking games.

In 2005 there was nothing except FEAR which Killzone 2 destroys and in 2006 Gears of War on the 360 was the best lookin game, then in 2007 Crysis, and in 2008 Metal Gear Solid 4 beat it, and in 2009 its looking like its going to be Killzone 2, God of War III, Uncharted 2, Fight Night Round 4, Gran Turismo 5, or Heavy Rain as the best looking games and guess what they are all on consoles.

Take off the pink goggles and look at things objectively. PC has already been there done that with modern day console visuals back at the end of the last console generation. PC moves fast... faster than the consoles can keep up with. Crysis alone is already a full generation ahead. Even PC games are having a hard time catching up.

I doubt it Killzone 2 has way more detail then that and the animations in Killzone 2 embarass those found in Crysis.

I'm sorry, but although gears 2 and re5 look good, they are not better than KZ2, but then again, KZ2 isn't much better graphically, they;ve done something, the environment i think just looks awe-inspiring, epic, collosal, pick your hyperbole.

PC graphics owns though. I made a porn machinema video with Crysis, it got me harder than any porn i've seen before, even more so than 2 girls 1 cup...Stalker is also another one that looks awesome.

Plus, graphics comes on a few levels, there's realism, and then there's pure art, SF4, Prince of Persia etc
