Last gen was pretty much dominated by multiplat titles with only a few exceptions being stand outs...both MS and Sony lost a bunch of exclusives (Metal Gear was one of the big ones). Do you guys think the same will happen this gen with only 2-3 really good exclusives a year for a system and the rest of the AAA titles being multiplatform?

If PS4 keeps selling like crazy, it'll get more exclusives.

But it won't be like the PS2 era though.

Probably will still be a load of multiplats. What I am hoping for most is the use of new ips.

Some of my most favorite moments when gaming have been when I first tried out killer new ips. Games that just make you go wow, this is cool as hell.

If you go with something other than a PlayStation. However, ps brand will be enjoying the most, and best exclusives for a 4th gen in a row, along with the multiplats.

Last gen was dominated by PlayStation exclusives.

Of course. With development budgets through the roof, 3rd party publishers will need software on all of the top selling platforms in order to have any hope of making their money back.

well, the costs of development will be even higher this gen, so I expect even more multiplats if anything.

If you ignore the PC, the Wii, and that Halo Gears and Forza beat the pants off any PS fps, tps or racer, then sure :D
