It's now 3 gens in the making
it's been in the industry longer than the Micfrosoft and it still hasnt been released

It also exceeds Shenmue as the most expensive game ever made. Each game in the trilogy has an estimated budget of $80-100 million. Here's the link. That's nearly a quarter of a billion for the trilogy.
Microsoft should step in becacuse the games the lawsuit are over are on 360.

$240-300 million... so it pretty much is about a quarter of a billion, most likely even more.
That would be the very last thing Microsoft would do.Even though I sometimes have my doubts of their general mind power,Microsoft wouldn't dare try to go against the very same dev that brought them their killer app for this gen.Microsoft should step in becacuse the games the lawsuit are over are on 360.

Hopefully, although it seems bleak. I think Dennis Dyack did an interview a few days ago saying that Too Human would not be affected by the lawsuit, although I'm not sure that's entirely true.SpigleyMcCheese
Depends on if their new engine is stealing technology from Epic.

It's already been affected by the circumstances of the lawsuit. Of course, the litigation itself isn't going to cause much trauma, assuming they win. But assuming they lose, boom. It's pretty much over. Damages in addition to what I would assume is destruction or termination of ongoing development on their new engine, but I'd have to check on that, because it's possible that Epic's request was determined by the $650,000.
Also, i thought it was funny. SK's lawyer's response was something to the effect of, "well, our claims of damages are greater than theirs, so, this will not affect us and we will definitely win." WOW TEH LOGIC FTWs!
Seriously, guys, I'd say forget this game, it looks completely awful. You've got Bioshock and Mass Effect to worry about, get on it.
"Epic is seeking damages in excess of $650,000, as well as an order that any code or games that infringe on its copyright be destroyed. Only Silicon Knights' next project after Too Human--the as-yet-unannounced game to be published by Sega--is referenced directly in the copyright-infringement claim."
Yeah, assuming they lose, it's over, period. Assuming they win, they throw a party over Epic's corpse and we all lose. But, yeah, Too Human comes out with a big banner and a boom.
