If yes, will it be like oblivion? I hope its going to be a WRPG. If not, I'm sadly going to pass on it :(

Within the next 2 years I'm guessing as Bethesda is letting Obsidian make the next fallout.

I hope so. Despite the hatred it receives, I'm greatly enjoying the fourth installment in the series.

Just going to add that I can't imagine they'll sit on the franchise since it sold so well. I'd imagine we'll see another one at some point.

I hope they will finally learn how to make believable character animation...

I'm really leaning more towards Fallout these days but if there is another Elder Scrolls I hope it follows the ingredients of Oblivion, but bigger scale and more like Mass Effect with the story and character interaction. Dragon age is the best alternative at the moment from what I've seen.

They pretty much have to. If they don't make it, they'll get someone else to do it.

If they keep Oblivion's awful, broken levelling system then I won't be buying any future Elder Scrolls games. That ruined the game for me.

I surely hope so, preferably with a bit more Morrowind quality to it. Oblivion was good, but Morrowind was just epic.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was announced at E3 for a release nearly next year much like Oblivion was. With allthree Fallout 3 DLC packs nearly out of the way, and the next title in the Fallout series being handled by Obsidian, it would be the only logical move for Bethesda to hard at work on TESV

I hope so. Hate the first on the 360 which had no kind of mods and had great fun with. Put 200 hours+ into it. :( Then deleted my game save thinking I wouldn't go back to it...and the expansion comes out. T_T That char was amazing...was all fast, sneaky, and had a ninja outfit.

The Elder Scrolls V willhopefully improve on alot of things repetitive cave layouts, lack of much voice talent, useless stats (having two speed focus categories sucked) etc... Alot of people complained about the level scaling in Oblivion but I loved it and hope they don't change it at all.

I would assume that TES:V is the next project that Bethesda is working on now that Obsidian has been tasked with developing Fallout: New Vegas.

oblivion was alright. could have been better. i hated how all the elves were really ugly and i hated how they had lizardmen and tigermen. hopefully they apply some of the things they learned from fallout 3 to it.

MJPK

This. And don't worry TC, it'll will be a WRPG, that's what put them on the map, I doubt they'd switch the gameplay up much.

Indeed. it's quite sad when a wolf can kill you, despite you being practically god, with all the best weapons, spells, etc.

Err, were you guys playing the same game as I was? Have it on PC and have played it a lot on 360, even with difficulty scaled up your example is quite melodramatic:p
