Will Xbox have its own Breath of the Wild or Horizon Zero Dawn?

All Single player games with an emphasis on presentation before gameplay, none are best in the gameplay department of their specific genres.... shock horror.... the Sony Exclusive Landscape isn't exactly amazing either. better than Xbox ... but still completely 1 track minded/limited.

They're ok games, but to be honest I could of happily not had a PS4 at all this generation, it's not like Bloodborne is anything more than a Re-skin... might of missed P5... what else is there?

HZD isn't in the same league as BOTW.

Sony lost king of the racing franchise years ago.

Sony have failed time and time again to make a memorable/lasting MP game.

Nintendo is by far the best all-rounder... this p*ssing match over who has the best tech demo is a joke,

HZD 7 Million. Lets say FH3 is 3.5 million now for the sake of arguement.

HZD has doubled FH3 - and that makes FH3 "niche".

I like Uncharted and Horizon. I think they are fun to play. This is where we can disagree and we both play mainly on PC.

Problem is I didn't disagree, as I own them myself.

They are fillers games for when I take breaks from the PC. Fun for short bursts... nothing mind blowing, safe little games where I can switch off.

HZD is on only one platfrom, is a new IP, is SP only, and has only been out a year and is more than doubling FH3's sales.

Well said. Sony is charging me to access a game mode/type they admit they don't give a shit about. No thanks, not paying them to play other companies mp anymore.

HZD started out great but that game got boring after 10 hours. I'll finish it someday, i hope. Bloodborne and Nioh are better PS4 games.

HZD's charm wore off as soon as the "Whoa pretty" wore off and the gameplay loop reached its limit... so yea about 5-10 hours sounds fair.

Bloodborne is decent, but no credit to Sony really, its a bought re-skin of Dark Souls... if you need THAT kind of experience... you can literally just play Dark Souls.

Nioh ... if you have a PC go there.

You haven't even brought forth an argument why FH3 is bad and why Horizon is great within their respective genres.

I never gave my opinion on the games, so why you'd even attempt to bring up this hypothetical opinion that I apparently have is beyond me.

Never said FH3 was bad, it's a great game but it's niche and doesn't belong in the conversation when talking about AAA blockbuster exclusives like HZD and BOTW.

That's all I'm saying. OP is asking when Xbone is gonna get its own highly acclaimed AAA SP blockbuster title and people mentioning FH3 are looking like clowns.

LMAO, Zelda looks ok i'd probably spend 30 bucks max for it if it was on XB. HZD on the other hand I wouldn't play even if was free with GwG. As a XB only player atm I just got news that State of Decay 2 is releasing on May 22nd. Here's how bad I want to play that game: If I Owned a PS4 Pro and a Swicth and owned every game ever released on both systems, I'd trade it all in just to own that one game. If your a guy like me and only games on 1 console, then XB is the best place to play. I get it though, if you own a good PC then a switch or PS4 would be a better choice to compliment your gaming hobby.

However, pound for pound a XB vs PS4 there really is no contest based on my gaming preferences. On XB in areas that matter most to me XB has delivered. I got to play Elite Dangerous years bf PS4, I get to play PUBG right now, Fallout 4 or Skyrim doest have stupid mod restrictions, as of recently my gaming library is getting free enhanced updates, Starpoint Gemini Warlords recently released, not to mention how all the features as well as services are better on XB. I've owned every gen of PS but 3&4 were jokes compared to XB. However, the PC is the way to go and one day i'll join.

Also, i understand that the games I like may not be the games cows like but it goes both ways. It's almost sad yet sadisticly entertaining to see these threads crop up mainly from died hard cows who day in and day relentlessly try to convince the world XB is worthless. As XB only player i admit i make some compromises for the convenience of playing on a console rather than on PC but its the sweet spot for me. If i'd just been a PS4 player this gen i'd be a miserable wreck on these forums bashing the XB cause i'd be jealous they're havin more fun than i was. That's the truth.

eh, if I still owned my XBX with my 250 plus library and a gun was to my head in this hypothetical situation i would. Now, if i didn't own my XBX with all my games then maybe your right, i wouldn't. Cause i'd still own some of my favorite multiplates that i wouldn't want to give up. Thus, a more fair example would be if i had a choice of every exclusive from nintendo and PS4 vs just State of Decay 2 to come over to my XB, i'd chose State of Decay 2. That is the truth.

I'm not the fvckin msft book keeper, i don't care what It's sales are. The game is considered top tier at what it does. TLG sold like boiled donkeys' balls at animal rights convention, cows still went nuts about It's reception bro.

Maybe some crazy cows did but TLG is also niche even as amazing as it is. I agree though FH3 is a fantastic game, one of the best racing games of all time but I wouldn't categorize it as a AAA blockbuster exclusive in the same category as HZD.
