the story is canon and by that they are ruining MGS4's ending by extending the PMC wars. The point of the MGS4 is that there was no system anymore yet here we are with tons of cyborgs, ultra anime-ish cheesy story and presentation, etc.
And Kojipro is writing the story. (; Blame them.
Not like the story in the MGS games were that good anyways.

It's not like that's anything new. All their games can be beaten within 6 hours... It's not really the length of their campaigns that make them good though.
It's weird how Platinum gets almost universal praise, and then when they touch an existing IP to make a side entry into a series everyone is up in arms. People are so fickle here. I haven't seen anything that warrants the hate this game gets other than being a Metal Gear game, oddly.Minishdriveby

1 and 3 have great stories. Easily the best I've seen in a video game.
