I bought a Full HD TV around 1 year ago so I don't see myself buyng another TV anytime soon.

That still isn't that good of a price. 4 months ago I bought a 42" Vizio 1080 240Hz with a 50k:1 contrast for a mere $700. I don't think 2" smaller and 3D is worth an additional $900

vizio have crap PQ. horrible black levels too. ofcourse the poor viewing angles can be a problem too.

Well, we have yet to upgrade to HDTV, and would around Christmas.

Might as well get a smaller 3D TV if the whole 3D thing pans out.

If not , we still have an HDTV
