It's a mixed bag for me...after playing Modern Warfare 2, I thought I could live without getting another COD title, but Black OPs was nice change of scenery, so I ended up caving in and getting it :P. I guess as long as COD never goes back to WWII, I'll keep on getting them :D.

Never bought a CoD game and never will.

I don't really like rehashed franchises.

For me it depends on what else is out. I have bought every other CoD, so Id say it is a forgone conclusion that I will buy the next one. However, if there were to be a new Rainbow Six out at the same time, CoD would most certainly take a back seat with me.

I liked the first modern warfare, played it like crazy for months and then got bored. Didn't get any of the sequels after it, it was just the same so I don't see myself getting this either unless they manage to bring something new in the table. And by new I don't mean only new perks. I just can't stand fps games anymore. They all feel the same for me now.

Black Ops is the first and last COD game im going to buy new. Im interested in this years version for the sole reason Raven are doing the multiplayer, and Raven are great developers.

So the answer is probably yes, but Activision arn't going to get any of my money for it.

I didn't buy any CoD game since 4, I think. WaW was ok, I hated MW2, and after playing a little Black Ops with my friend I thought it was an improvement so I picked it up. Not my happiest purchace, I got bored with it rather quickly.

With that in mind I wouldn't rush to get the next CoD game, but now that Raven is involved I feel that I have to as I like supporting developers I think have talent. I haven't gotten Singularity yet and I regret not trying it out.

At release, certainly not. The only time I ever bought the games was when the price was kind of low, so the last game I bought in the series is CoD4. That being sad, I'm not really interested in those games regardless of the price.

I wanna say no, but I probably will. I haven't played black ops mulitiplayer since the first week or 2 it came out.. There are just much better, more balanced twitch shooters out there imo.

Maybe. I really like Black Ops, but I got bored of it so quickly. If they change the formula around (kind of like what Bungie did with Halo Reach), then yea I will buy another one. Until then no.

all the no's, but it still sells 20+million. COD is the most casual FPS ever made. It is like a Mario FPS. Can be hard and has some die hard fans...but overall COD is mindless killing. 50% of mario is easy runny and jumping, while the rest of it u want to throw ur controller though ur tv. most people i know who play COD only play COD, they buy it year after year, and sadly my best friend, has COD3,4,5,6,7 and Fable 3, Halo 3 as his only xbox 360 games. Im not as hardcore cause i only have COD4 and play DKCr and UC2.

I'm not planning on it. As much praise as the series gets, each installment has at least 1 major flaw that everyone complains about that angers them enough to stop playing just in time for the next year's CoD which promises to fix all the previous problems, only to have a completely new set of them.

Depending on reviews, yes, as long as it's made by Treyarch. IW's refusal to patch the multiplayer to a playable level will not be forgotten.

No, ill be going back to being battlefield only for my online shooter experience. The fact that the PS3 version always looks and runs poorer than the 360 version makes my decision easier. Black Ops will be my last CoD, get to 15th prestige and that'll be it for me. The p2p server crap is really annoying me too, we give them how much money and they still cant provide dedicated servers.

Not after Black Ops. It was fun, but the PC version is still so buggy that I won't bother to waste my time with another.

No, not after my experience with Black Ops on PS3. The campaign was fun, but the multiplayer was just a mess. The quality is just not there for me anymore and I simply am Call of Dutied out at this point. The yearly release thing is just too much.

Two things would cause me to get the next COD

1. Game is much different and changes things up allot ( )

2. They have dedicated servers. I want them badly on consoles.

To be honest I actually enjoyed MW2 for months, it was unbalanced but it was fun imo. Black Ops is just awful in my opinion, it's just boring and the gunplay and maps are poor. I probably will get MW3 but I don't think I'll get a treyarch COD again.

I voted yes Because COD4, and Blackops are 2 of my favorite multiplayer games ever. People say all COD games are the same, but they are not.

I will because I still enjoy the CoD-singleplayer. But they are also short and have little replay value, and I'm done with the multiplayer, so I doubt I'll shell out the full price.

I've been saying to myself that I'll pick it up when the price comes down to a reasonable level. Then when it does the next Call of Duty is out. And so the cycle continues it seems. The weird thing is I still feel like I'm getting tired of it. It's like I've been exposed to it so much that I've gotten my fill through indirect consumption.

I'll probably pass on the upcoming one. Too many other good games coming out that I'm interested in. Also if the game isn't much different from black ops then I'm not interested. Tired of rehashes coming out every year. It's the reason why I gave on sports games.

The only way I will buy another on is if it goes back to WWII. World at War was easily the best Call of Duty game.

On another note. If ps3 versions of the games continue to be buggy and virtually unplayable at times then I for sure won't buy another call of duty game.

[QUOTE="ImprovedMind"]

. World at War was easily the best Call of Duty game.

SNIPER4321
 not even close First one, second one and COD4 are only good game in series.

Well we are in System Wars here so I thought I was under the "consoles only" rule, my bad. But yes CoD + Expansion and CoD2 on PC are much better. But, considering the games of CoD4 and beyond, WaW is no question about it the best.
