Will you purchase an Xbox one x?

I'm half considering getting a ps5. It will undoubtedly be more powerful than the xboxonex and if it's backwards compatible and guarantees 60fps then it could be good value for money - given all the decent exclusives that sony has.

But the xboxonex really doesn't interest me that much. There are hardly any good xbox exclusives for starters and I have a computer which is just as good in terms of power so why would I bite?

I think 500$/€ is too steep, I can get a ps4 pro with horizon for 350€ today.

It's not sure the xbox one X does any vr/ar either

Don't own a 4K/HDR TV so won't be upgrading either of my systems.

Yes why not I need an excuse to spend my hard earn cash on something Xbox.

I have a 4k Oled television, and looking for the best possible visual experiences.

500 dollars really isn't all that bad considering they chose to keep 4k Blu-ray player. Probably would have come out as 400 if they took the Sony Pro route.

Already have a Pro, so I could see the XboneX as my new multiplat/entertainment device.

Saw some interesting games at E3. Let's be honest though, it was a shit show for everyone, except Ubisoft and Nintendo.

Also considering the Switch even though it's power is sad. Love some Nintendo games.

Microflop really needs to up their first party. I am impressed with their hardware improvements over the OG Bone, but their first party is fucking pathetic.

@crashnburn281: "Pathetic" is harsh... it's definitely lacking if you don't like Halo/Gears/Forza. But it's hardly pathetic. They showed some pretty cool stuff at E3 (yes most of it was from indie devs, but still going to be Xbox exclusive - atleast for a good while).

It would be a cool HTPC if it were unlocked and came with Windows 10 (it could still have an Xbox Dashboard application for use with the controller). As a locked down console though it is useless.

They have pumped out mediocre title after mediocre title. What is the hold up?

If they can do a 180 with hardware, why not with the first party?

Forza is their only critically acclaimed series. Halo used to be in that role, now it is mediocre as well.

Sea of Thieves looks interesting, but we haven't seen enough to actually get a feel of it is going to be a hit.

This isn't a perspective of their games are also on Windows so it invalidates the exclusive. The titles are not scoring well.

Should I believe that some conspiracy is afoot that is being utilized to make Microsoft Studio games look mediocre.

Where are the must have titles? The OG Xbox had them. Halo CE was top notch. KOTOR, while not first party, was top notch.

Where are the triple a blockbuster titles that make people want to get a Xbox?

I might be a Sony gamer, but I call stuff as I see it fairly. My post history should prove that.

Halo 5, Gears 4, all the Forzas have scored very well... plus a few other 1st/2nd party titles. So there are games there. And not all Sony's 1st/2nd party stuff has scored great... so people need to stop acting like everything Sony puts out is gold.

And look, I admit that if you don't like Halo/Gears/Forza, then there's probably not much of a reason to buy an Xbox if exclusives mean that much to you. But Xbox has a lot of other awesome features that never seem to get a mention (ie. BC, Game Pass, Xbox Rewards, ID@Xbox etc). Plus of course, the XB1 X will be the best place to play multiplats.
