Well that's what the description says and the commentary says (although it's tough to hear).Thats not 360, it can't be
Supabul
That looks surprisingly fantastic, looking like a great port. :)
Hope it doesn't get canceled like The Witcher. :P
Well gameplay wise they've nailed it seemingly - and the great thing about The Witcher 2 is it's gorgeous artstyle :)any offscreen video will look great.. i'll wait for direct feed

thats all that matters really
That was quite awesome. What are you looking forward the most Raven, this or Skyrim?
 offscreen videos tend to look worse than the actual game.any offscreen video will look great.. i'll wait for direct feed

man i wish the 360 and ps3 had just a little more power, watching that vid makes me realize how much both consoles are pretty much out of date compared to the pc. alfy57Are you implying this looks bad? Cause due to the video quality this could easily be the pc version maxed and theres no way you could tell the difference. i have played and completed the game twice maxed out on pc except supersampling and i can barely tell any difference from this video, other than perhaps lower resolution textures. Playing it on the xbox will still be a great experience...the difference in graphics arent significant enough to make the experience that much better imo
 offscreen videos tend to look worse than the actual game. Genuinely not sure - I'm very excited for both. However I was gutted that TW2 got delayed for 360 (although it's good business wise), but that enables me time with both :DThat was quite awesome. What are you looking forward the most Raven, this or Skyrim?

Which looks times better then what we are seeing now.

As do I....and the difference from THIS video is not that evident.....the quality of the video is no where near good enough to see any real significant differences in resolution and the lightning, animinations, artstyle etc etc were all ported over completely intact, which is quite amazing. Stop exaggerating! 20% better at most.....
I will consider getting this game when it comes out. That is if I have the money/ time. There are ALOTof games coming out that I'm getting.

It's the first time I've heard somebody saying that offscreen, low quality video somehow makes a game look better, but hey, it's your opinion, I respect it.
I'm surprised so many people are impressed with the visuals showcased here. Coming from someone who played the PC version on the higher settings, this is a far cry from that one.
There are several shortcomings noticeable even in this low quality off-screen clip, out of which the complete lack of antialiasing and the severe screen tearing issues stand out the most.
I'm guessing those who claim to see no difference between the two never actually looked at the PC version, much less played it on a decent rig themselves.

So much for hermits claim that the game would look like complete crap on the consoles. That looks better than what some PC gamers got.i5750at4GhzI'm sure the game is not a problem to run at 720p, no AA, medium - low settings.
looks good for a console game, on par with some laptops I've seen. I'm glad I can play the PC version but this is a nice option for those who don't have one. Heil68
Hey, quit making posts that make sense and aren't bashing something! You're in system wars! Take sides!
[QUOTE="i5750at4Ghz"]So much for hermits claim that the game would look like complete crap on the consoles. That looks better than what some PC gamers got.Heil68It doesn't take much of a PC to beat 6 years old hardware. True, but that doesn't make my statement any less true. PCs maybe powerful, but unless the games showcase it who cares. As of right now, very few PC games showcase the power in most modern PCs.
The dialog in this game is so very bad. Just like The Witcher 1 it sounds so forced, and the way things are phrased often seems wrong and out of place.
It is probably a translation thing, a lot of European made games come off sounding like this in American English.

The biggest problem is the low-res and poor AA/AF imho. They should've given the PS3 more RAM and a RAM update for the 360.

MLAA is extremely cheap, even on the consoles.

Yea the AA was MLAA, I can only speak for myself but it didn't effect my performance much at all like a 3fps drop. I guess it depends on your GPU. the damn ssoa and uber are what really kill performance, yet offer little visible difference.
I thought SSAO was important gave the game a lot of character.
The game looks bare bones without the effects, like in this video.
Ubersampling makes the game look a lot better especially in motion, but yes it's too taxing. I turned it off and on, depending on how crowded the situation was :P
Anyway, needless to say CD Projekt has optimized the engine a lot since launch with the patches. And it will be more optimized with The Witcher 2 2.0.

I didn't see much difference to be honest. Probably has to do with the crap quality.
There's some screenshots posted on the game page.

Not even one with a 7800 GTX. The devs really did a great job getting as much fidelity as they could out of such an old system. One that's really doing an amazing job standing the test of time.[QUOTE="alfy57"]man i wish the 360 and ps3 had just a little more power, watching that vid makes me realize how much both consoles are pretty much out of date compared to the pc. dom2000
