Looks like they are getting closer to medium-high settings. That they were able to port their SSAO over to the console version gives me hope that in upcoming patches they will be able to put down some optimization on the PC version, the cost for their SSAO is quite high.
Well it looks okey for being a console game. However the most glaring issues i can see are: Some animations are gone, The draw distance is short with texture / model popins, they seem to have decided to keep some textures (notable characters) higher while some characters have lower textures. But anyway decent looking. I hope they optimize the game abit for the pc.
man i wish the 360 and ps3 had just a little more power, watching that vid makes me realize how much both consoles are pretty much out of date compared to the pc. alfy57
well dude i can tell you that giving the 360 "a little more power" isnt going to get it on par with PC's.....

Are you implying this looks bad? Cause due to the video quality this could easily be the pc version maxed and theres no way you could tell the difference. i have played and completed the game twice maxed out on pc except supersampling and i can barely tell any difference from this video, other than perhaps lower resolution textures. Playing it on the xbox will still be a great experience...the difference in graphics arent significant enough to make the experience that much better imo
yes they are... .Pc version will lokk 3 times as good, thus much more immersive..

It's considered by a large portion of people to be one of the best (by alot considered to be the best) RPG of the generation so far, of any platform. That, and I own it and can say you're wrong. Granted, opinions differ. But I certainly enjoyed the first one as well and spent over 100 hours on it. The 2nd one was far from a dissapointment. The exact opposite in fact. It's amazing what you PC elitists will do to a PC exclusive when it hits another platform.
LOL funny thing is I have been calling this a disappointment long before it was said to be multiplatform, so you are 100% wrong in that regard. The rest I'm not going to even deal with as my opinion isn't going to change and I don't feel like going in a circle with someone who insults me. As for using the majority arguement, I couldn't careless. I can think for my own and will not fallow majority if I don't feel the same. If this is not clear for you, then I'm sorry, you will just have to live with the fact The Witcher 2 was an utter disappointment for me.

Elitist here, Witcher 2 is the best RPG and one of the best games to come in many years.
Averaging medium settings, 720p, 25 -30 fps is my guess for the final product. Good enough.

I doubt it be at medium settings, when a Geforce 8800GT has trouble running the game on medium settings at 1680x1050, And a 8800GT has 2x the video memory and is nearly 3x faster then 360's gpu. Cant really go by the video quality, but there's no way the 360 can pull off medium settings, theres not enough memory and processing power.
