Maybe if the PC version does well enough, they will make a third one directly instead of just "streamlining" it for consoles.

The first one is the main game on PC that I have been dying to play since 2007. Thankfully I am going to get the chance now that I actually have something that will run it, lol. Sad, I know, but better late than never. I will have the Enhanced Edition tomorrow. If the the second one does make it to consoles, at least now I can go into it having played the first.

Didn't like the first one but, I'll keep an eye on this. If they fix the combat system I'll give it a try.

I didn't like ME1 either but, ME2 was really good. So I'll hold out till I see more of what the game has to offer.

Awesome. Inspite of some funny dialogue because of the writing it was such a good RPG. It's one of the few fantasy RPGs i could enjoy. The grind and other crap got to me at times though. I don't like it when games make me do tedious crap to progress to the next quest. That is not "hardcore" or "deep" that is stupid and boring.

Anyway, colour me excited. I'm not as high on The Witcher as most people who've played it are, but the franchise certainly has potential. Bring in some quality writers for the English version ('shades of gray' morality doesn't work if the player doesn't give a ****), drop the 'single-player mumorpuger' grinding and the slight-to-moderate misogyny (have I mentioned the sex trading cards?), and The Witcher 2 could be brilliant.

There are many games that are not on PC including sequels to those games, how is that any less ridiculous ?
